We stayed for about an hour here before heading over to Shirogane Blue Pond and absolutely loved the time at this coffee shop! The owner couple is lovely and the cafe is a residential home turned into a coffee shop, so you enter after taking your shoes off, which makes everything super cozy! We had the soybean coffee and the today's brew and both tasted amazing! The coolest cafe we have ever been to and this place made our Biei experience more special!

How lovely this place is ! The owner has quite good manner, always smiling, and very respectful. He provided us Korean menus and served the one of the best coffee in Hokkaido. If I had more time, I must have ordered otherwise too. It was really enjoyable memory to have the soybean coffee here.

Obscure coffee shop. The owner roasts his own beans. I didn't notice an espresso machine - so everything is 'brewed' by a pour-over system.
Owner took great care with our coffee, from grinding and blooming our ground coffee. He even pre-heated our cups.
I had the Ethiopian mocha (forgot the rest of the name), a dark roast. Nice caramel notes and was perfect for a chilly afternoon.
Nice atmosphere with relaxing music, and wood interior. When the sun shines through the window, it feels great with your warm cup of coffee!

What a gem. We spent a lazy afternoon here at the counter seats. Great hand-drip coffee and atmosphere. Owner roasts coffee and makes European-style signboards. The entire place is decorated lovingly, and the service is kind and attentive. There’s a second floor for larger groups. A few people stopped by to pick up beans or take away coffee.

Soybean blend is very delicious.
I bought soybean 3 package, for my family.

Tasted a cup of perfumed coffee, especially in winter. Their toasted cinnamon bread works wonders too.. ☕️😉
