A decent place, nicely decorated, perfect for a cold winter's day with a fireplace where the wood crackles as it burns. The dishes are from the Romanian kitchen, nothing spectacular but a perfect place for an honest meal without great pretensions. The service is impeccable, reasonable prices, we received a palinca or a vicinata from the house, basically it was a nice evening. Recommended. We came in for some romanian food. I must say they met our expectations more than enough. First we ordered two lemonades, then we ordered a small traveler's plate along with "shut up and swallow" dish (classic romanian food). The combination was exactly what we've expected, with good proportions. After 2 failed restaurants, this one hit the spot perfectly. Horrifying. We came to this restaurant because we missed Romanian food. We ordered the "big" platter for 4. It's so small it's laughable and for the price of 40 EUROS!!! The fries weren't included! The chicken meat was BITTER! It was inedible! Please look yourself at the size of this platter and the outrageous price! If you want authentic Romanian food DO NOT GO HERE! They RIP YOU OFF. Yesterday, a group of friends and I went to Zestrea Restaurant Romanesc in Sibiu for an afternoon coffee. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the service was excellent. In terms of taste, I thought the coffee was practically perfect (while taste low pH). According to me, the value for money was good. I was pleasantly delighted by the rapid and kind service. Because the location of this cafe has a lot of heart, I could see myself being a regular. There are several details on the menu which would confuse costumers. I was disappointed to learn that the coffee was not produced locally. One of our beverages was no longer available. I'd say it was worthwhile and a good experience. Keep the same standards!! Restaurant with specific Romanian but specific culinary and location; the atmosphere (music and presentation), they don't bring you to Romanian lands. The staff is very helpful and attentive and I thank them for that. The menu, varied but still limited. Finally, I recommend the location. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

On the photo you may see the Cotlet de Berbecuti. Supposed to be a dish made of lamb. You can recognize from how the bones look tt it is not a lamb, but a very old ship… only fat and bones, nothing to eat. The worst food we have tried in Sibiu. Only the location is perfect. All the other is - disappointment + not clean glasses. Service Dine in

The food was just about average. And very pricy for what it offered. We were brought only one menu for the two of us. The waiter didn’t tell us how long it would be until our food arrived so it was a guessing game. The cloth on the table was dirty in 2 spots.
