Ordered deep-fried bread and potato-based pancake. The fried bread was soggy and had barely any taste, the pancake (bulvinis blynas) was undercooked. The size and thickness of the pancake is massive therefore no surprise it didn't cook through. Surprised by the good reviews of this place. Disappointing experience. Deimantė what is the best hostess such a lovely person and helped us even though the menu was not in English she was very helpful towards us. The food was incredible and they made fresh orange juice for the kids. Highly recommend.. Deimantė is an asset to this beautiful little restaurant. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The idea of having traditional Lithuanian restaurant is very welcome. Good to know that you can invite and treat you foreign guests with typical Lithuanian cuisine. We were looking to try šmakalas as it is very rear place who is still making it. Also we were looking for traditional cepelinai but unfortunately nothing was left. We did order another Meškos potato pancake and we ordered with smoked mackerel but they brought us a smoked salmon instead without asking. In general atmosphere, design outside and all idea in general is very good but need to be approved some other services too. Lithuanian typical girls who is speaking local accent was a bonus, but most of them need to be trained for service. Not extremely welcoming service. We're not permitted to sit at "Representative" table when 5 min later other visitors just sat down there. Table was not reserved. Salad was supposed to be with hard cheese, but found just traces of it. Kugelis was made in a pan with paper which got stuck to food. Potatoes used for Kugelis were tasteless.
