We found a true hidden gem of Japanese cuisine in Rockwall (of all places!). Our server Kassi was just perfect and we will definitely be back. All the fish was fresh, sashimi grade. The alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks were both very good. They had multiple courses to choose from (traditional Japanese style) and I think this is the closest I’ve been to a Nobu-esque sushi restaurant in awhile. We will certainly be back!! (Worth every penny , to spend just a little more than other “local” Asian restaurants)

Customer serviced lacked. It's enticing because it's on the harbor but nothing special about it. You can get this same quality sushi somewhere else for half the price. Save yourself a trip & money.

Yuzu Signature Roll
When we entered the restaurant the host told us we only had an hour due to another reservation. Which is very rude because you should not rush guests as they enter your restaurant. The sever was not very attentive and barely checked on us, as well as having a snarky attitude towards me and my friends. Overall the whole experience was not enjoyable and the host was staring at us our entire time of eating.

We dined at Yuzu last night, the ambiance was cozy and oh so pretty inside. The food definitely lived up to our expectations it was fresh and delicious. The menu showcased a variety of innovative dishes, blending bold flavors and beautiful presentation. Highly recommend Yuzu. We will be back soon!

Overall a good experience. There are a few dishes that stand out above all else.
Appetizers: the Brussel sprouts, the lettuce wraps, very tasty.
The sushi is fresh with a good variety for a group dinner.
The dessert, Belgium Chocolate ice cream is to die for.
The service is good, its still relatively new and on its way to becoming excellent.
Good beer, good food, great evironment, overall a good experience I can recommend here to others.

tl;dr - Stellar food, lackluster service, understaffed, ran out of literally half the menu (on a holiday no less).
A tough review to leave. Visited for Valentine's Day w/a reservation and had to wait for our seat right away because they couldn't clean the tables quickly enough. We waited a bit for our waiter, but in all fairness the first round of drinks and appetizers came out quickly enough considering the night, and for how busy they were. Things went downhill from there however. After appetizers, we were informed they were out of a significant majority of the menu (which is unacceptable on Valentine's Day IMO). Our second round of drinks almost never arrived and the service slowed considerably as the night went on.
I should say the food they did have was pretty awesome, and the cocktails were great too.
