The vegetarian Discovery Platter 1 is a must try! My favorite was the eggplant dip, it had a smokey taste and wonderful texture. The other dips also complemented the sticky rice well. A great Lao appetizer sampler. The restaurant also has 1-for-1 on cocktails before 7pm. All the dishes were good for sharing between 2 persons. We visited this restaurant twice during our stay in Luang Prabang. The food is delicious, the service is friendly and the atmosphere is really nice. There are international dishes as well as local ones. Prices are reasonable. If you’re not hungry, just go have a few beers there on the tables outside, watching the life on the main street. Wandered in here for lunch and we were so pleasantly surprised!! The food was really delicious, we had chicken fried noodles, satay and chicken mafe (an African dish that I’ve never had but was so delicious). Service was fast and staff very friendly! Really nice interior too. Not cheap but on par with other restaurants in the area! Would definitely recommend and would definitely return if we’d found it earlier in our stay here! Interesting international food... there are food from Canada (the owner is Canadian), Africa, Lao/Asia, etc. We tried the African appetizer - deep fried dough stuffed with fish, something like that. It tastes great, crispy and not oily at all. Another dish we tried is stir fried tofu and aubergine, Lao style. This one is also good. Our daugther ordered kid's menu - fried dried pork with sticky rice, good as well. It came in big portion so we need to help her finish it, haha. If you go before 7pm, there is a happy hoir promotion BOGO drinks (but they need to be the same menu.) Delicious food, polite service, reasonable prices. The lunch set was worth every penny at 100K for salad, main and dessert. Laos special meal as well at 120K for main and a beer. We enjoyed our first meal here in Lang Prabang and loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. The staff was very friendly and there is a wide range of food from all over the globe to order. The food was really yummy. There are also tons of vegetarian options available. This is a more western style restaurant so don’t expect to pay Lao prices for food. Worth every penny though! Such a nice place to eat, it’s cute, everyone is nice and the service was so efficient. Very impressed because we came as a group of 10 in a rush, everything came so quickly and was really yummy, especially the eggplant dish that I would recommend.
