I want to go to North Korea. Now! Except I can't afford it. But...I can definitely afford a great group meal at this place and let me tell you - the food is awesome! Really glad we have the world at large represented here in Trinidad. Looking for a different group dinner experience? You MUST try their table barbecue option. 10 out of 10 and I'm going back again. 😁 Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Korean Table BBQ

not being able to cook your own meat at a kbbq place is the stupidest concept ever. having a [RUDE] waitress stand between you (burning the meat, might i add) makes the experience awkward and tense. the fact that even the marinated meat is tough as hell really doesn't help. there are no redeeming qualities to this restaurant aside from it being good value as a group meal (quality of the meat aside..) and it being different than what's found elsewhere - however, i would not ever recommend anyone come here to try kbbq for the first time, because you will be disappointed if you try this after hearing about how good kbbq is elsewhere. i pray someone else opens up a kbbq restaurant because i have been here 3 times and have been horrifically let down every single time. Honestly, my experience here was very mid. Perhaps it was because we didn’t have hotpot but Korean bbq instead? The sever left for extended periods of time and forgot about our drinks despite it being empty when got there and placed our orders. Additionally, if this is the bar for Korean bbq let me tell you.. save yourself the money and just go to the grocery and get the ingredients yourself, you’ll save a lot of money. The only thing that was unique that you might not get at a grocery store were the fermented sides like the kimchi etc. And perhaps lastly, I think it would be better if the servers brought the ingredients and let the guests do the grilling themselves. It’s just super awkward trying to have any kind of personal conversation with a stranger wedged between you and the person / people you’re dining with. I also think it would enhance the experience. Over all, if you haven’t had the experience maybe you might like it just for trying it sake but it really could have been so much better. Service Dine in Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

We opted for the hotpot option on this trip. We normally like the Korean bbq here but we didn’t love the hotpot. We had to really flavour the broth but the beef was tasty. Our appetisers and the hotpot all arrived at the same time so our little table got a bit confusing and crowded. This happens a lot in the Caribbean as the person taking the order doesn’t stagger entering the items to be prepared for a table into courses. Service isn’t great here and I think anyone who has visited knows this. They are always a bit bossy and don’t really communicate to see how much assistance/tableside help one would like. My friends were a bit put off by the server touching the rims of their glasses moving things around to fit all the hotpot items due to the handling of raw meat with the same hands etc. Didn’t bother me but I will say I agree that server should have asked first for politeness and giving guest the option of moving it themselves. Food wasn't my style. Meats although grilled in front of us were still too tough and uncooked. Had the veggies, the mushrooms were my favourite item. We packed the pork, beef and rice and took for the Huskies. Ohhhh, maybe its just me but I cant tolerate hearing another diner/guest coughing and belching very loudly without any regards for other diners. It was such a turn off. Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2
Delicious Korean cuisine. Amazing experience cooking right on the table. Definitely try the Shabu Shabu as well as the Korean bbq. The flavors are so good. Beautiful ambiance and friendly staff. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Recommended dishes Korean Table BBQ

I originally came here 2 years ago and it was 4 stars but I returned this month and there was a drastic improvement. Easily 5 stars! Great for groups and couples. We got the table bbq and it was very worth it. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Korean Table BBQ
The service is not great and the wait for food was quite long even thought the place was not busy. The quality of food is good but not great, especially for the price of the meals. It's a nice place just to experience authentic Korean cuisine but I don't think I'll be going back. I'll stick to their sister company, Golden Bell, which is more affordable and the quality of food is the same.
Amazing Korean food (cooked at your table if you dine in), friendly staff with quick and helpful service, decent prices for a proper restaurant and of course halal chicken is a plus. Overall, would definitely recommend. If you liked this review, head over to my Instagram food page @kremecaramel for more foodie goodness!
