This place lives up to the hype! We arrived early, at around 10am in the morning based on recommendations of other reviews, so there was no queue. We were ushered in quickly and the food came immediately, because there is only one item on the menu that is hoedeop-bap (회덮밥) and plenty of sides. It was my first time trying Korean raw fish, it has a chewier texture compared to usual Japanese sashimi we are more familiar with, very fresh due to high turnover rate (restaurant opens only for a few hours and closes for the day once all fish is sold out), and there were loads of vegetable wraps you could make ssam with. Lastly the hot and comforting mussel soup and sungnyung made the meal all the more fulfilling. Definitely the soul of the dish is the in-house made chojang (초장), which was sweet, spicy, sour, really delicious! We bought a huge bottle and hauled it back home to Singapore with us and it is the perfect accompaniment to make a quick and easy bibimbap. Owners are extremely friendly and were so happy to hear we’re from Singapore 😄

Eating raw fish is not familiar to foreigners. The atmosphere of the store is very friendly and old house and has tradition. You can't choose the menu at the restaurant. The menu is set for sashimi bibimbap, and the food is served quickly. The price range is also very reasonable, and when the prepared raw fish and vegetables are all sold out, the company closes its business.I recommend you to eat in winter.
A hole-in-the-wall restaurant with high quality ingredients (they only use fresh, daily-caught fish), delicious meals, and generous portions. Their hospitality is a huge plus also. Would definitely recommend
