Gorgeous historic cafe, converted from a bank, serving up delicious coffee and snacks
The cafe interior was newly remodeled a couple years ago and tastefully incorporates the building’s bank past. There are plenty of indoor and outdoor seating area both indoors and outdoors. This cafe’s specialty is their drip coffee, served in a liquor bottle.
I’d highly recommend a visit!

Fantastic cafe in an old bank building. The coffee and cakes are amazing, the cold brew coffee was even brought out with dry ice.
The whole scene is kind of steam punk with brass pipes and gauges, cogs and levers everywhere. There is a door that resembles a vault that has a strange machine inside. Something out of a steampunk comic.
Quite expensive but an interesting experience. Very popular so would need to book in advance. Has an outside garden as well if you want to sit out in the sun.

Very nice atmosphere, and it is perfect for dates. The food was decent, but coffee was great. Coffee will get discount if ordered with food. Highly recommended for a relaxing afternoon.

Nice environment. Classy. Many customers take pictures. Quiet, even with a decent number of customers. Pleasant classical music in the background. Helpers speak English.
Most all the food was good. We got the beef stew and hamburger. The hamburger was good but the meat patty had lots of gristle.
The peach Earl gray tea was very nice. Light sugar taste.
Service was good as well.
Chocolate souffle is good (called pancake on the menu).

Historical building from the Japanese colonial era, reinvented and renovated while preserving its history. The former bank and hotel have been remodeled with a fusion of Victorian and Japanese elements; the restored bank counter still has decorative elements but has been simplified. The roof of the hotel also mimics Japanese temple architecture.
High quality coffee is served in the former bank while reinvented Japanese food and desserts from the colonial era are served in the former hotel.
A beautiful gift shop boasts local artists and the space is converted into an art space once a year for young artists to exhibit their work.
