My wife and I visited the Cascades Woolworths cafe on Friday the 12th of January 2024 around 5pm. We had three grievances on this particular visit. The first issue was that we received the wrong drinks order. We ordered the condensed milk coffee and received a cappuccino. However, the waitress did replace the drink straight away. The second issue we had, which is much more severe in my opinion, is that we saw the chef handling cooked chicken and waffles with her bare hands when constructing a burger or waffle dish. The third issue we encountered was that our waitress took our food orders at 17:30, but then she finished her shift at 17:40. We then waited until 18:15 for our food. When we asked the waiter who took over from our waitress where our food was, he said: "don't worry it's coming" in a rude tone. We then waited another 5 minutes and asked again, when the chef asked us directly what we ordered and she then told us that the order was never placed by the previous waitress or our current waiter. We then decided to ratehr settle our bill rather than waiting another 40 minutes and no attempt was made by either waiter or chef to rectify the situation. In general we found the serving staff to be very rude and unhelpful. We've always enjoyed dining at the Woolworths cafe and we felt very disappointed by our recent visit. After being shown to a table we were then completely ignored. Having waited for over 10 minutes to be served we left and went to Coffeeberry where we were quickly served after being seated. Staff attitude at Woolies Cafe Cascades is generally poor.

It’s not up to the same standard as others. Often, the cafe is dirty. They always don’t seem to have any of the things I order-particularly anything that has butternut in it. Most of the waiters are good; it’s just a mission to get their attention. Often, you will sit up to 10-15 minutes without getting any service. They often only have one waitress on the floor while the other waiter wipes cutlery for hours. The one waitress who works the floor will have an attitude. There are Decent vegetarian/ healthy options.

Don't let the cool, stark surroundings fool you. The menu is simple, fresh, healthy and wholesome and not too way out where your dining experience becomes a little experimental. The service is almost always friendly, warm and welcoming and definitely somewhere we go back to.

Lovely food and the service was good. I recommend getting a Nutella cruffin (hybrid croissant) with a grande honey and nut latte. The harvest table is also really nice.

You desperately need a new menu. Summer menu really poor. Harvest table is good but must be available from 09h30.

Great food, good service. Very nice Cafe to stop at while doing your grocery shopping
