Very busy dinner place, but still found decent parking. The food is so delicious! The egg rolls are the bomb! Very crispy and delicious. The portions of the food are large. My boyfriend and I shared and still had leftovers. Our server has been with the business since it opened. She was very hospitable and knowledgeable about the menu. She was quick to state her favorite items on the menu. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We found this restaurant because we originally wanted to go to a different one in the same strip. Sadly, the parking situation in the latter was horrendous. The vibe inside this restaurant is great. Even though it’s not that spacious, they made use of what they have well. There were a lot of people eating at the time, so we took it as a good sign. They had lunch specials, but we did not go with those. My husband ordered sesame chicken, and I ordered pho. The server asked we if we would just share everything. I thought that was a strange question. When he brought the food, I realized why. It was because they had hefty serving portions. Anyway, the sesame chicken was good. They used actual chicken meat unlike the ones you get from other Asian restaurants. The broccoli was not soggy, so thumbs up. Sadly, the pho was just terrible. I should have read the reviews on the pho before getting it. I love pho, and I always make it a point to try it when I first visit a restaurant. The broth of this pho was just bland - it was like they did not use any aromatics or seasoning at all. The noodles were just not the right kind either. You can choose between chicken and beef as protein. I got beef, and I would say the tenderness of the beef is the only thing good in this dish. Awesome little spot. Great for take out or dine in. There Pad Thai is particularly good and you have to try a slice of key lime pie for desert. One thing to be mind mindful of is this place is not very big but incredible popular. So you will need to plan ahead especially on weekends or busy times. Absolutely delicious! Was hard to choose what to get. Went with the Pad Thai and loved it. Staff were friendly and accommodating. This little place fills up quick so make reservations! Lost one star for atmosphere ONLY because they should definitely expand in size and parking! One of the best Asian restaurants in Minneapolis. My wife and I shared the potstickers which were excellent with a great dipping sauce. I had the Slayer Stir Fry with beef. A tremendous amount of savory food in a rich garlic sauce. My wife had the Sunrise Curry with shrimp. Again, a superb dish. Wok in the Park doesn’t need any more attention because it is busy!! But that’s because the food is so good. Everything tastes fresh and they have a good variety on the menu. The only thing I’ve gotten that I haven’t enjoyed is the egg rolls. They are huge and stuffed full which is just not my personal preference. If you go here, just plan ahead because people love Wok and you’ll need to wait! when they say hot.. they mean HOT. My mouth was burning from the berry+habanero sauce!! 5 stars overall, though food is a bit overpriced. Its $16-21 for a Chinese takeout container filled with rice, veggies and a protein. Not that much food to be honest! I might try it out again though because I like the vibe and style of the place.
