I ate here for the first time over the weekend. I was very impressed with the dining room and fireplace. It was nicely decorated for St. Patrick's Day. The food was delicious. This was our third time dining at Windward Tavern. The food is always delicious and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the atmosphere is great. We were lucky once again to get our favorite waitress Barbara, she makes us feel at home. Even if you order take out the service is fantastic. Today we ordered the mussels and empanadas, both were delicious. But we forgot to take pictures of those. I had French onion soup and my husband had chili. And we both ordered the pork tenderloin. $106 for this? Ridiculous. Would rate 0 if I could. Edit: half a tray of French fries and onion rings is a catering order? Would it have helped if I just said “8” orders of French fries? We walked in and requested a table they set us a table that In front of the front entrance . I requested very nicely from hostes table and she said there is no table and turned her back did not even care of our existence . Than I spoke to my Manager he says they are telling a different story and the time being they sat 3 new people Instead of moving us . Middle of our food after the argument manager walks back tells me that he can move us after 30 minutes . Server did not even check on us . Over all horrible horrible service . Sad part is I brought new people here as me and my wife loved their food but we always set at the bar and never experienced this horrible treatment . Wow! I got the hot roast beef sandwich and oh my goodness I couldn't find the bread lol. The chocolate martini was also just as amazing. My best friend and I will definitely be back. The atmosphere is a 10 also very cute little place.

Stopped there for the first time on a cold Saturday afternoon and enjoyed a great lunch by the fireplace. Our server was outstanding! I had the filet mignon melt and the hub had chicken Murphy, which he loved. Paired with an Asbury Blonde ale, it was a perfect lazy lunch. We'll definitely be back.
