Love our Lincoln Whole Foods. I don’t live close, so I don’t shop there every day. I know people like to complain about the price, but the items I buy regularly really are the best quality in town. Their produce, their desserts, some of their bakery items. You won’t find sourdough bread. Better anyplace. I their food bar. I love going there for lunch when I have time. Even the coffee is terrific.
It is one of my favorite stores but the treatment of customers should improve a lot , I kindly asked one of the workers to give me thin slices of Prosciutto and she told me that if I wanted thin slices to buy a packaged Prosciutto , that she would give me the slices as they came out of the slicer, I wanted thin slices for a charcuterie board and when I got home I saw that she gave me very thick slices and that she didn't discard the first slice and it was hard and dry, Other times I have been helped by very kind people and they gave me thin slices and with the proper standards of cleanliness, today was disappointing
I like to stop here when I’m in a hurry because they are close to my house. They are expensive though. I do my returns to Amazon here, too. People are very helpful. Nice selection of cheeses, specialty items (Egyptian Musk Oil and scented soaps!), bakery and deli.
Best store in Lincoln, all because of Keith, the frozen food manager. What a fine gentleman he is, keeps his area looking great, is so friendly and fun to chat with, with a fun sense of humor!!!
I love the carrot cake a lot and I will be back to whole foods market. I love self-check out a lot and I know how to use it and sometimes I will use the scan handhold for the fruit.
The store was pretty cool! I have 4 stars because they don't have a juice bar?? Find a whole foods with a juice bar, the experience will change your life! Though I couldn't get my juice I was able to get a ttla and loved It! When you get your sandwich make sure they add pickles, onions, extra garlic mayo and heat it up twice. You can thank me later! Seriously with a plethora of plant based options meat has been literally rendered optional or rather unnecessary! LoL on a side note the salad bar and hot food selections were pretty good as well....try the roasted potatoes!!
Always Excellent Service and amazing organic product. Lots of healthy options. I usually get my fruits from whole foods and my coconut water, meats that are freshly cut. As well as I buy local. My favorite soap that literally is made here in Nebraska can be purchased at whole foods. It does wonders for the skin. I mean instantly brighter, healthier, firmer skin. Which I love. You cant go wrong with whole foods. You will walk in with a list and leave with carts lol. Also they always have the best flowers. Today I purchased purple irises instead of my normal tulips. But check out the pictures for yourself. Stay safe, Be blessed to all who read 🙏🏽✌🏽
Came here because I remember W.F. having a really good salad bar...not at this location I guess? Got here at 5pm, and there was almost no lettuce stocked; how can you make a salad without greens? I thought, I'll get some stuffed grape leaves instead, but the spoon had its handle resting in the adjacent olives, swimming in oil, so that was out...is anyone paying attention to the upkeep of the salad bar here? Perhaps they are understaffed. They should just do away with the salad bar if they aren't able to maintain it. Had a craving for the grilled tofu but this location doesn't have it on the salad bar. So I grabbed a prepackaged salad which was underwhelming, not the ingredients I would have chose. And almost $10 for a salad that's mostly romaine lettuce and croutons? That's a ripoff. I still wanted that grilled tofu on it so I had to get a huge container of it for $9 which was way more than I needed. By the time I already had these things in my basket that I didn't really want, I find on the opposite side of the store, other prepackaged salads that looked better. But too late since I already removed the subpar premade salad from the shelf). I feel confused. I thought WF was a market with high standards. (Lettuce bins are still empty 30 minutes after attempting to use the salad bar, so it wasn't like I happened to be there just before they were filled or something) Lesson learned; I'm going to get the rest of my groceries at the local independent Harvest Co-op.
