Petal Wards is about the best Wards around. Go with the double little one instead of the big one cause the meat tastes better. It's good, but is it just me, or didn't their food taste way better when we walked over after school1 in the late 80's. Next time I come through and get grits but don't get butter or any seasoning in the bag (even though I asked for it) I'm going to come inside and wait for someone to consume a bowl of flavorless grits in front of me and lie and tell me they liked it. I have never in my life seen a soul eat grits without butter sugar or cheese but if you keep serving it that way I'm gonna have to ask someone to demonstrate. I've never been disappointed at Wards. They get the food out quick, it's always hot, and tastes fresh.

What has happened to the Wards in Petal? This place has gotten to be the worst place ever. It used to be the best place around. Now, it’s takes 20 minutes to get your food in the drive thru and everything is cold when you get it. Food is terrible tasting now. Definitely not the same as it used to be. I will no longer be going there anymore. It will not be in business much longer with the current conditions

The food was terrible.. I had a biscuit and bowl of grits. The biscuit was hard as a rock and tasted old..the coffee was old and cold.. I will not eat here again. Ward's used to be something I shared with friends from out of state. Like you got to go try a Big One . The chili is amazing! But now it's like ward's in petal lost it color, it's just grey.. you order a large drink you get a cup slam full of ice. ice is cheaper than soda.. and the manager at petal wards don't care about customers.. only the bottom dollar.. hope this place gets it's soul back... Ordered two quarter pounders with cheese. Bun was old and hard. Meat was precooked and cold. Cheese was cold and fell out of the burger. Lettuce and tomato was fresh. I ate part of the sandwich, I wondered if I would get food poisoning. I can remember a much better Wards experience. Cashier was courteous. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20
