Location is spot on, large (super center) Walmart much needed in the area. Lot of things are stocked up and store looks like a renovated recently, spacious aisles, courteous staffs. Loved the morning energy of young staffs at the customer services. Clean and well maintained store. Lot of clearance items in the store , but few places the things are scattered. All in all good store, not a perfect one but definitely not a worst and very good for shopping needs.
Please get your associates who push carts outdoors some rain gear. Saw a young man outside in pouring rain with only sweatpants and sweatshirt and his reflective vest on while rounding up carts. Terrible image for a company like wal mart. Be better to your associates.
This is why walmart has a bad reputation as a whole. This walmart the employees are always nice. I can't fault them for hard work and they are always polite. You can tell they work hard and are understaffed. But today opened my eyes to cleanliness and some issues. My daughter wanted some apples so we went over and the first one she picked out was so nasty and molding. It's not uncommon for produce to be molding at a wlamart. It's daily. You have to inspect everything. So I'm looking around and that's when my foot slipped so I look down and the ground is nasty under the display. I'll let my photos do the talking from here on out.
Not enough Cashiers. Self check should be limited to 10 items or less. Only reason I can imagine people take a cart load full into self check is to take a little off the top. Which honestly is probably cheaper for both Walmart and customer
Used to be my favorite Walmart until now, let me explain. My fiancé lost his phone the other night. So I called the store right at closing time, and they indeed did have it. They described it perfectly, even described the screensaver. I told them he would pick it up in the morning and that it would be in the safe. My fiancé was there when the store opened, but he came home very upset and empty handed. They pulled out a bunch of phones, but wouldn’t let him see them and told him they did not have it. So I gps it, and in fact it is still at Walmart. I called the store and they tell me the same thing and that I have to wait for the next shift. I asked to speak to a manager and I’m told there isn’t one on duty. I proceed to the store, and your lovely lead tries to tell me it’s not there even though another employee the night before described it perfectly. I tell her this and she says oh they must of been confused cause they have so many customers to deal with, so I asked her how they knew what his screensaver was if they didn’t have his phone. She still tried to say it’s a mistake and that employee didn’t know what they were talking about. The store lead from the back was great btw, she tried to track his phone with mine but it didn’t work. We went to the front just to double check, and I decided to call his phone. The other lead picked up his phone out of the other pile of phones and says oh, is this it? How hard would it have been to let my fiancé look thru the phones the first time he came? This all could of been avoided if that lead would of let him look the first time, and I could of saved myself some time and gas. Ridiculous!!!! I’m really upset about being lied to, being refused to speak to the manager, and for the staff that acted like my bf was a criminal when all he wanted was to retrieve his phone! My fiancé has CANCER, his drs numbers are in his phone. He has dr apts via phone, and he had one yesterday afternoon he wasn’t trying to miss. That’s why it was so urgent to get the phone back promptly, but that lead didn’t care. We were too much waste of her time to care or listen!!!!
So a while ago I stopped getting cakes at Walmart because every person I’d dealt with in the bakery was rude. Today I went to place and order and the woman In the bakery was awesome! She was attentive, helped me find what I was looking for and engaged with not only me but my children. I believe her name was angel. She was so kind of you go there for you special occasion cakes ask for her.
The grocery pickup people could be slowest laziest set of humans on earth. A bunch of teenagers with ZERO sense of urgency. They walk around with their headphones in and barely even acknowledge you. There were about 5 guys in rotation. One would slow bop out to the car, hand you the groceries to load, stop mid way to check their phone, go back inside, and after 5 minutes another would come out and do the same routine. Pick
Up time was schedule for 2pm, got notification it was ready, waiting 5 minutes for a space to open, pulled in, put my number in. AT 315 a kid came out with my order and an attitude like I’m interrupting his day. Needless to say if you order grocery pickup from this place make sure to have patients and restraint because you’ll need it.
This shopping center has gone down hill. I understand it’s hard to find workers , and we have to do self checkout - but when you check my receipt and accuse me of stealing a case of water and send me back in line when it was on my receipt the whole time, that is a problem. I go to leave , you stop me AGAIN , I show you where it is and you don’t even apologize. I’m just not okay with that lack of customer service. It’s embarrassing and degrading, especially when I had a cart with $300 worth of groceries. I didn’t ask to check out my own groceries , of for to embarrass me in front of the others in line to have their receipt checked. Do better Walmart.
The woman in electronics that I’ve had the pleasure of dealing this morning and one other time has such a charming personality. You can tell she really loves her job. (Sarcasm).
