Very nice! We really enjoyed our afternoon tasting time despite bad weather, the place isn’t huge or fancy looking, but surely homey. Their wines taste real special, I especially like the Riesling. Also, very surprised to know about their Gin and Limoncello, both of which are exquisitely delicious. Cheese board are nice and generous in size, and the waxy honey is a great touch.

Made a last minute booking 2 days before for my mums 70th birthday and given that they had several large tables they were more than accommodating. The wind had picked up so even though I asked to sit outside we were seated inside as they didn’t want us to get hurt by flying umbrellas which worked well and suited us even better. Food was outstanding. We had my 5 year old son with us and the kids platter gave him a little bit of everything which he loved. We had the white wine platter between two and two small glasses of house sav and were not disappointed. Every visit here has been wonderful and the staff are so attentive and polite.

Had a lovely lunch at the Waipara Springs winery, one of the better winery meals I’ve had. Tried the salmon and the roast belly dishes both of which I would thoroughly recommend. Great and quick service from the service team too

Amazing experience!!! We went on a tour to a winery, met owners, had nice tour with explanations and wine tasting. Having a great view with a glass of perfect young vine. What can be better than!!! Even saw caws nearby.

We had a very nice meal, especially the roasted beet and carrot salad and two flights. The wait staff were excellent. The view in the back is gorgeous. I lived the huge tree.

Excellent selection of wines, excellent menu and food. One of our best meals in New Zealand. Lauren, who hosted our tasting, did a great job. Very entertaining. We visited four Waipara wineries that day, and this was clearly the best. Extremely well run—the owners were circulating among the guests delivering food and saying hello.

Beautiful view but the wine was subpar and the service could use work. Despite visiting early in the morning when it was not busy, I waited much longer than I'd like for pretty much every step of the process.

We went to Waipara Springs as a little treat to ourselves for Christmas. The staff are lovely and the place is beautiful. The meal was fantastic and a good time was had by all, thank you

We brought our elderly parents here for lunch as a New Year treat. We had pre-booked with a note saying our parents had visual and access limitations. We were given the perfect spot - bright and sunny, plenty of space for the walker, sheltered if it was windy. Many thanks to the great staff who thought about the best spot to reserve for us! The food was excellent - we all had a different main and everyone thought theirs was superb. Lots of other diners for Saturday lunch, but service was great and it didn't feel crowded. Wonderful garden setting for children to entertain themselves in (away from the other diners) on such a beautiful day.
