NEVER COME HERE, worst milkshake I have ever had in my entire life tasted disgusting and watery turns out after asking the waitress they are made with WATER, ICE AND POWDER no milk or ice cream in a MILKshake and paying $6.50 for it was an absolute disgrace, extremely disappointing will never come back here. Last time they will receive any of my money!
**Upon return to Waihi beach bakery after their response to my review where they apologized and offered a free drink as compensation, I went and got a smoothie from their bakery and it was delicious and would recommend to anyone. A massive improvement from the disappointing milkshake a few days ago. Thanks to Waihi Beach Bakery for their response and resolving of my issue

Just wow! The whole family loves the breads, pies, donuts and everything that we ordered this morning! On our way back to Auckland, my kids asked if we can go back to this Waihi Beach bakery again... But it's a 2 1/2 hour drive! 😂😆😅 That's how much the family loves it! Just Amazing! Lots of drinks options too! Thanks waihi beach bakery will see you again next week!

Tasty and reasonably priced food, coffee and drinks. Thank you to the staff who have been consistently patient, positive, kind and helpful during my every visit. I have witnessed them multiple times remaining calm and kind in the face of out-the-door queues. You are awesome team, thank you for your mahi :)

Excellent service by friendly staff. A good selection of pies, sandwiches and slices for lunch and the coffee was great too. The bakery is well supported by the locals as well as visitors to the area.
Mushroom pie and bacon & egg slice was the best!

This place used to be good, but has apparently changed owners recently and seems to have gone downhill rapidly.
Today I discovered they no longer make Sally Lunn, twists or any other type of sweet breads at all. Bought donuts and almond croissants instead which were disappointing.
The donuts had incredibly meagre amounts of Jam and custard surrounded by dry, salty dough, and the marzipan in the croissants was similarly hard to find.
Very disappointing.

A must for all bread lovers. Great sourdough, breads & baguettes. Heard another guy raving about how great the pie is but didn't get to try myself. Would definitely go back!

I ordered a chocolate log to be ready Xmas Eve day. Went to pick it up and they said the order wasn't confirmed. Had I been told to confirm it I would have. Spoilt Xmas pudding

Amazing bakery, hopped here for a takeaway food on our trip back home and was very impressed by variety of food and quality, it was sooo good, and the danish, portuguese tart and cereal sourdough are divine.

A mix of both very traditional bakery fare like custard squares and mince and cheese pies, alongside more modern options like almond croissants and steak and blue cheese pies. The Portuguese Tart is a favourite for me. It has to be said that the steak in their steak pies is nice and tender, unlike the Patrick's pies I've had recently that nearly broke a tooth.

Lovely food for a bakery. Would recommend. Clean bakery and great friendly service!! Loved the pie, sausage roll, almond croissant and filled donuts.
