Happy Thanksgiving from Waffle House. We decided to hang out here today instead of cooking a big dinner. We found it to be a great time to come. Everyone was super friendly and service was excellent. Seems to be managed very well. The Texas bacon cheesesteak is the best. Waffles were great and the tea was fresh. Great job WH! Had to call out the manager John. The employees were some of the best I have experienced at this location and they are always good. However, we overheard John tell the employees how much he appreciated the employees being there. Then, upon attempting to leave, decided he wanted to sweep some first and refill customer glasses. It was an amazing display of customer service, employee appreciation and overall leadership skills. I hope someone from corporate will see this review and acknowledge his actions! Me and my Girlfriend go here every Sunday morning, and we enjoy it every time. Not only is the food always perfect, but their manager Alexander has his crew motivated, and he's always spreading positivity. He's a really good manager and an even better person. Everyone else that works there is great too, we always have Porsche and Kim serving us,vand they keep us laughing while we eat. We will continue to go back weekly. Kristin was our waitress and she was absolutely fantastic. She noticed that tables that weren't hers were having issues and she stepped up and helped them out while still providing great service to us. She is very kind and we enjoyed our time. Good Morning, I have visited the Waffle House on 98 Old Trolley Road Summerville, SC. The experience was awful and shocking. The food was great, but the customer service was dreadful. There are three things had bothered me. The employees were unprofessional by getting poor customer service, cussing conversations, and having a babysitter services. It was unbelievable. I have eaten at plenty of Waffle House and will continue to eat there. This location has no leadership, professionalism, and very distasteful customer service. The waiter who served me didn’t even come back to check on me or offer do you need another cup of tea or water. In closing, I hope that someone will go in this Waffle House in an undisguised supervisor or division manner and judge for yourself. I know that this does not speak to all Waffle House employees. Everyone with a waffle House hat this morning working hard getting the food out as fast as possible. Even the manager came out and said good morning. Now the girl with the cone new years hat doing nothing but on her phone. And my waitress with the stars hat. Asked her three times to move the blinds down it was hurting my mother in law eye. But that cell phone and hanging out talking was more important yes I left her $5 dollar tip smallest bill I had. Was going to tip the bill this morning to someone but I won't tip the bill when you are like that. The kitchen Crew and manager thank you but those three without a waffle house hat send them home they dragging down the hard working employees you have. Dirty table, the waitress acted like she couldn't be bothered to serve me. She had ear pods in, so I had to wave my hands to get more coffee. Then, the scrambled eggs were disgusting and the sausage was burnt. This Waffle House used to have excellent food and service. Sad. I use to love this location. The last three times I have gone they have messed up my order. Instead of actually fixing new food they basically slapped what was missing on top. It's 2am and they started having a rush so we have walked away throwing food out because it looks like dog scraps. Texas bacon cheese steak and hashbrowns with onions. The forget the onions and bread. These folks fried up some onions and slapped it on top. They forgot the bread for the sandwich.
