Not even acknowledged upon walking in and the first several minutes we sat down. Little girl with curly black hair was too busy on her phone. Then when she finally did come to the table she asked our food order and we asked for drinks first. After taking our drink order she rolled her eyes and walked back behind the counter and immediately got on her phone with her back to my table. She didn't even bring us our drinks so about 3 minutes later we walked out. Horrible experience especially compared to the food and service last night. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Why have a online order on web site? Why have a phone number that says order online or come in to place a to go order???? Why??? Because I just had someone go to the Mt Airy store. And was told we could NOT do a to go order Does that mean if someone seat down to eat N they HAVE to eat it all or waste it. You can not get a to go box Seriously what is the difference Can someone make sense of this. Meal type Other Service: 1

People always crack jokes about Waffle House, well I had a most excellent experience at this particular WH. Traveling out of town and stopped in for breakfast. What a 10/10 restaurant experience. Everyone was not only working hard, they were incredibly kind and friendly. The young man on the grill was incredibly efficient and had our food out in a flash. The food was as delicious as it was served with speed. My day is better now because I stopped here. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This was the first time, ever stopping at this location. And it was one of the worst experiences at a Waffle House. My friend ordered a unsweetened tea the waitress brought sweet. Okay no biggie. I had ordered the all star. The food was good. But the problem came in. When I never got my waffle and no refill on my coffee. The waitress was running her mouth with a couple the whole time ignoring her other customers. Finally I asked where is my waffle. She looked surprised. I called it out. Well you should have known I did not get it because you did bring it to me. So she goes a makes a waffle, as I sit wait for my waffle she goes back and starts talking ignoring her customers again. Then after about 10 minutes or so might been close to 15, she looked at me as I turned back to see where is my waffle. Then she runs over to the waffle maker and it’s burnt as black can get. She made another one. Then it was not completely done but I took it anyway. Still never got a second refill on my coffee. The as we was leaving all the employees was outside talking with people and she was hugged up to a guy like maybe boyfriend or husband. Don’t know don’t care. But waitressing is not her profession and most of the employees last night acted like it was a place to hangout and not actually work. Won’t be back ! Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast

Our waitress Brandy was absolutely amazing. She was so kind and attentive. But there was a man behind the counter being very loud and rude to his employees and it made me and my partner uncomfortable. Honestly if I could put zero stars I would cause Ms. Kendra today woke up and chose to call my mother and brothers “retards”. That’s not very friendly now is it? Ms Kelly the “manager” sure did have a lot to say as well. If you don't make enough working here it’s not the people's problem so don’t take it out on the customers just cause you claim you’re only makin 2 dollars and some change an hour. Kelly and Kendra we all have bad days but if you can’t handle it simply don’t do it. customer “service” it’s what you supposed to do if you don’t make enough it’s nobody’s fault especially my kids you both were so unprofessional and disrespectful we were sick and you make us feel even worse never we will be back and of course like you said you don’t care!! My wife and I decided to get Breakfast here, this morning and was not disappointed, the place was very clean. The service was very good and fast. Everyone that worked here was cheerfully performing their jobs, smiling and laughing with each other and the customers, just put you in a good mood just being in there. This is how a resturants supposed to make you feel. The food was served fast and was out of this world good. I highly recommend The Waffle House in Mt.Airy NC. You will not be disappointed.
