First off, I’m a fan of Waffle House and I understand the experience can be hit or miss but those waffles are worth the gamble for this Californian. Visiting family in the area for the holidays, I managed to get three breakfasts at this particular spot and they were all great! Waffles were served perfect! Service was friendly and attentive. Our server, Moe had a great attitude and I look forward to going back the next time I’m in town. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My husband and I went in because we had been wanting to make it there and hadn’t been to a Waffle House in 14 years. We should’ve just remembered it fondly and never went back. I wanted sausage gravy & biscuits but the cook looked in the fridge and said there wasn’t any. So then I wanted a pecan pancake. Can’t get that at Waffle House anymore. I finally settled on an order of toast and hash browns. My husband ordered the bacon cheeseburger with hash browns with onions ham & cheese. I watched the cook throw on a frozen burger and bacon and diced ham. Then he started my toast. Then he started hash browns. My toast was popped up and sitting there getting cold and hard. The hash browns were done, on plates, sitting there getting cold, the burger was on another plate getting cold. Waiting for the cook to decide just how burnt he wanted to get my husband’s “toasted” bun. Meanwhile the waitress who’s been standing there playing with her hair decided to butter my cold hard toast… thank goodness she put gloves on because she never washed her hands. About 45 seconds after she gave us the food she put the bill in front of us. Never asked if we wanted anything else or if it was ok. Then she went in the back. We ate and sat there waiting for her to come back so we could pay and leave but she didn’t come. Meanwhile I’m watching the cook make Sausage gravy from a powdered mix! SERIOUSLY??? A MIX IN SOUTH CAROLINA???? That’s disgraceful!!!! We finally asked the cook to get the waitress so we could get out of there. I’m a Certified Dietary Manager and I seen so many violations in there that it made my skin crawl! Adding Waffle House to my list of places to NEVER go to again!!! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

This is the nastiest place I've ever been. They act so getting. They sigh and don't want to wait on you. They'll even say to your face that they want you to leave. Most of the ti.e their food is cold anyway. Fire them all and start over if you want your business back. If not keep going with killing your franchise. Your choice. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Cockroaches everywhere. This place needs to be condemned. Besides being filthy the staff is rude, including the manager, maybe it's because I'm white. When I questioned the manager about a small coffee to go being the same as a large I got an unexpected rude response and when I told her she didn't need to talk to me that way I was told to "Get Out And Don't Come Back." WH Unit #732 is the most infested restaurant I've ever seen. The health inspector must be getting paid to look the other way. If I could choose negative star rating I would. We came here right before 5 o'clock, and the cook with the hat was amazing, his service great, food great. But the the waiter was not friendly and even chewed the cook out, while not doing anything the whole 45 mins we were in the place. That cook deserved more respect. There were 8+ people behind the counter and a huge spill that they kept wading through. One waitress stood around and would not help anyone else or speak up about the food she was waiting on. It was probably 45 mins before we got our food and it was a mess. Also, the waffle I received was about 8 inches across by 1/4 inch thick. It was raw in the middle with the outside barely being held together. The music was 90's R&B which is fine except that the volume was so loud we couldn't talk to each other over our meal. I would recommend one of the other Waffle Houses in the area. On top of all of this, the bathroom was beyond disgusting...it made me sick to my stomach and I wish that I would have gone to the bathroom before eating there. The most pathetic WH I've ever been to. Server never spoke..no "hello, good morning, etc" at all. She didn't even respond when we corrected her on several things. We asked her to hold our waffles until after we'd started our meal so they'd be hot & fresh. She actually brought them first!! We sent them back & explained again....so she proceeds to set them on the counter for 12 minutes then tried to bring them back to us...cold! Explained again...it fell on deaf ears! She never spoke a word at all during this. No apology, no reaction...nothing! Never did get our waffles but she charged full price. Went to pay, handed her the check & told her the manager needed to make an adjustment on the charge. She silently walked away....no reaction at all!! Mgr did remove the charge for waffles after we explained what had occurred. If you've ever been to a WH, you know they basically "yell" hello when you walk in the door. Not here! No greeting at all. They always call out their orders....Not here!! They're usually quick on coffee refills & asking if everything is ok...Not here! No refill at all...and no attention to customer. We pulled up a little bit Shia and when we went into eat my family member had to use the bathroom and the worker said “the bathroom is for customers only” and we were walking up to go sit down and the worker said she was going tk get my family member for trespassing for wanting to use the bathroom. The manager was very nice and definitely deserved credit. The 3 workers however.. One was more worried about his phone than anything else. Until he just decided to disappear. She asked the others where he went and a few minutes later they other two were more interested in a fight outside than actually getting drinks. We waited 10 minutes or more just for our drinks and had to ask more than once as they were to involved in watching what was going on outside. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I've been in several waffle houses, this one had music so loud we couldn't even order or talk to each other. The floor was so wet with water and spilled drinks the workers actually had it wicking up their pants legs to their knees. This one was just dirty, loud, and not clean at all. The reason for the service rating being higher was our waitress was apologizing and because of the wait for wife's food she gave us a discount.
