The food is quite delicious and the portions definitely are worth it for the price attached. This little diner is the best in Ogden in my opinion as not only are the staff very helpful and pleasant but they keep things tidy and clean. Virg's in Ogden, Utah was such an incredible experience! The restaurant was converted from an old Galaxy Diner a number of years ago and retains the 50's-60's vibe. Upon entering one is greeted with a clean-looking environment, smiling, attentive, and happy servers who prompt and efficient to all our needs. The food served there is typical American diner fare with everything from hearty portions of fried Chicken and mashed potatoes, to 3-egg omelets with a massive pile of hashbrowns on the side. What sets this establishment apart from your every-day diner is the kitchen staff. Everything was prepared to our expected temperature; the plates were attractively garnished the the rooms of all plates and bowls were clean. EVERYTHING WAS HOT, FRESH, AND DELICIOUS! The only problem with the food is that it didn't last long!!!! I'll definitely be going back!! If you are black pepper intolerant, you are limited to the breakfast menu. That being said, it was a delicious breakfast! The French toast was ginormous and the egg and ham went really well with the whole plate. The ham was flavorful without being too salty but the French toast was definitely the star of the dish. My husband's hamburger came on a separate plate from his tots as both took up the entire plate! The tots were amazing and we will definitely be coming back to eat here again! An excellent place for breakfast on our long road trip across the USA. Very clean and the food was delicious and quickly prepared. I mentioned it to the waitress that the coffee seem to be very weak. She said “we actually prepare two different pots of coffee for customers, one less strong and one stronger, so I asked if we could have 2 cups of the higher octane coffee-it was! The coffee was delicious! In all, a great place to eat, and we suggest the French toast, scones, and bacon! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I love Virg’s. I’ve never been disappointed with their food or service in the few years I’ve been going there. My favorite dish is their enchilada omelet. I get it with verde sauce instead of enchilada sauce and it’s not your typical omelet. It’s a chicken enchilada wrapped in a thin layer of egg. So good! Great place for breakfast, the outlaw is the go to. The club sandwich is great be sure to upgrade to beer fries. Only down side of you can only eat dinner here 2 days a week. They close early.
