Definitely a well run restaurant, with outstanding service and great food.
The reindeer steak was perfect, as a light medium rare, tender and very flavourful . The seal steak was just as good, cooked perfectly and served with nicely done veggies.
Be sure to book a table here, it’s well worth it.

The best of the best! Food is amazing here! It’s one’s of life time experience to try something special you can’t eat anywhere else in the world. Trying Arctic food here. Delicious reindeer, whale and seal. Just wow. You need to try for your experience. It’s delicious.

Absolutely splendid dinning service and food! Once inside, we took off our shoes and put on the slippers we brought. The dining area is cozy and full of greenery. We had a small appetizer, two entrees, and we shared a dessert. All of the food was delicious.

Great place. Even with few competitors in the most northern city on the planet guys still do their work with a passion and on a high level. All meat which you can find here bought from a local few hunters who has license from Norway to kill limited quantity of animals each year. Seal, reindeer, and whale. Cooked very well. They prepare it in hot smoked way. And have a in way of steaks. Reindeer steak by default cooked like medium rare, so asked if want other options. Garnish is pretty classic, would happy to see here some additional variations of purées next time. Anyway place is gorgeous, so if you would get it with cruise ship, I’d recommend book place in advance.u

Amazing!! Went for a dinner with my fiancee, we were struck by the cozy and yet lively atmosphere, and the dining hall was beautiful. The staff were great and attentive, and explained every dish for us. The food was delicious, probably the best entrecote I had in years, and the seafood was delicious. It's a bit pricier than other restaurants in town from my experience but well, well, well worth the money! I highly recommend you visit!

An exploration through some locally sourced ingredients to experience artic cuisine from what I can only describe as an eclectic conservatory. Great flavours and fantastic view.
Returned to try the seal & cheesecake, both were well worth a try.

Didn't stop in the hotel but did have a beer in the Piesen bar, which is lovely and cosy, and tried the home smoked trio of minke whale, bearded seal and reindeer... the seal was my standout, so rich and gamey. Overall a really nice place which is unique in Longyearbyen.
Very eclectic Restaurant , but very beautiful in the conservatory with all of the plants and animals skins and musk ox head on the wall. A little bit expensive like most of the restaurants in Longyearbyen. Fast free WIFI

I wanted to give this place a go, and it's only a short walk from the Radisson. So we head there on our second night in Longyearbyen. The main reason was that I'd seen their menu online and they offered many local ingredients. And so we ordered the smoked arctic meats (seal, whale, and reindeer), the grilled seal and reindeer steaks, a cod, and a salmon. To everyone's shock, reindeer was by far the preferred option, with seal a close second, cod in third place, and salmon (which was either frozen or seriously overcooked) last. And we're big salmon fans. We also tried the crumble and the cheesecake for dessert. And the cheesecake seemed to be made with Norwegian brown cheese. Which made it interesting to us. The waitresses were lovely but clearly inexperienced. Which didn't bother us one bit as they were super friendly. And the decoration really stood out. Overall one of our best dinners with a price tag to match it!

It was one of the best restaurants in my life. We tried whale, deer and seal for the first time. The food melts in our mouth. The staff is attentive and friendly.
