After a walk around The Stotesbury Mansion, many visitors stop by this bar. The truth is that you will really like nicely cooked roasted duck, duck fat fries and hamburgers. At Village Whiskey, visitors may try tasty waffles, French toasts and brioches. Take your chance to taste good bourbon, draft beer or scotch. Delicious milkshakes, chocolate frappe or juice are among the most often ordered drinks at this place. At this spot, you can get a takeaway. A number of guests find the staff pleasant. The terrific service is something these restaurateurs care about. Most people have noticed that prices are attractive for what you receive. The homey decor and lovely atmosphere let clients feel relaxed here. The rating awarded by Frommer's is 3 stars, so this bar is an exceptional place.

The food was delicious and service was exceptional. We visited during restaurant week and they were running a special featuring select entrees that came with a dessert for around $20. I opted for the Cobb salad while the others in my party chose their burger. We also had a side of fries with dipping cheese that were so good we ended up ordering a 2nd helping! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Would highly recommend! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Cobb Salad

We had The village burger which was great the and it tasted really good, the burger didn’t came with fries which was disappointing. We also got the “its always sunny” cocktail which we really loved, it had infused blueberry bourbon which really tasted good. They seemed understaffed and the number of waiters weren’t enough for the tables that were occupied. Overall, we enjoyed our time and recommend the place. Their guided whiskey tasting was a fan favorite activity as part of our new Speakeasy Food Tour. Our guests were "wow-ed" from the moment they entered their private event space. The ambiance, high level of service, and bar's efficiency and flavorful cocktails were talked about throughout our entire evening together. We'll definitely be returning for more! Always a solid place for burgers and beer/wine/whiskey/cocktails. Super fast service. Burger of the month was sloppy but delicious and a steak compared to regular burger prices. Only complaint on last visit is the attached seating area was quite warm. Enjoyed the food, low-key, ambience, and especially the local whiskey flight at Village Whiskey. Came here because they are listed the best whiskey bar in Pennsylvania and they do indeed have a solid selection. The food was good for the price and the service was efficient. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Selection of Whiskey
Terrific wait staff! Got a window hightop without a reservation. They were out of Blue Cheese Fried Olives so I ordered Sweet Stem Cauliflower to start. My entrée was the Smoked Salmon BLT. I leveled out with White Chocolate Mousse Cake. The dessert is sugary sweet. Grateful for a place to land! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

We were drawn to Village Whiskey after hearing its name as a contender in the Philly Burger Brawl. We visited on a Thursday evening and, while we made a reservation an hour or so before heading over, there was decent space to walk-in. We both got the Whiskey King burger sans the Foie gras along with a side of duck fat fries and tater tots. To accompany the food we got two cocktails - I got A Manhattan Summer while my girlfriend got Spice Jam. Mostly everything tasted great. I would say the fries were very good but the tots were a bit of a let down. They tasted a bit like fried mashed potatoes. The cocktails were made well. The Manhattan had the perfect amount of sweetness to compliment the drink. I wasn’t a fan of the Spice Jam but my girlfriend loved the jalapeno flavor profile. The burgers were cooked to the temperature we desired and tasted fantastic. The onions, bacon, and blue cheese all worked well together. Definitely one of the better burgers in Philly and well-deserving of the accolades. Crowded, with extra seating on the other side, but no bar over there. Fair selection of name brand whiskies, but limited selection of anything special. The prices are high. Street parking. Service Dine in Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
