Absolutely the tastiest Red Lentil Soup, fresh made bread, chicken kabob, salad, hummus, and rice. Price is very reasonable . Especially foe the quality of food. Layla is one of the chefs and you can taste the quality and care she puts into the meals. Make sure.you arrive hungry because the portiins are very large. Can't say enough about the service, quality of food and Layla's personal touches to the food. The food here was absolutely fabulous! We shared the chicken and beef Shawarma and it scrumptious! They serve homemade pita bread and it was the best I have ever tasted. I normally don’t like pita but this was like eating a pillow of bread! The meat was seasoned to perfection and Lila took excellent care of us! You should definitely stop by this local restaurant. They had patio dining, counter dining that overlooks the street in addition to regular seating. You will not be disappointed. Can I give a 3.5? This is a new restaurant in the village. Great location. Nice decor. Friendly staff. Good food. I can't give it 5 stars because it isn't the most authentic tasting place I've been. We had good chicken shwarma wraps and the village kabob wrap (ground beef, like kofte) and the falafel plate. The falafel was a little overcooked. Overall - a decent place. I'd try it again. It’s a gamble, sometimes they’re great, sometimes not. Photo includes the chicken shawarma a 10/10 dish Aside from that the food is a gamble as previously mentioned, sometimes they include bread, sometimes they don’t want to. Sometimes portions are decent, sometimes they skimp out. Every time I have gotten mediocre customer service, with them forgetting about us for 20 mins sometimes. Overall a place with great potential, but often squandered by bad management and customer service. Food is decent at least. A tour increase me and my friend were on as we enjoyed some of the greatest food that was offered in calls back big portions serve that it healthy plate we ordered extra tzatziki sauce, and it was good. Thank you, village Koba Mediterranean food for lettuce, letting us die in your establishment. It's such a great wooden table in the ambience and the music and the assets of vegetarian food. Gayla's a warm feeling at home

This is my second time here and the food sooooo delicious!! Real authentic Turkish, mediterranean food. Their pita is so good and freshly baked. Oh my goodness. Talk about traditional recipes handed down from generation. You could taste the love in the food. Fresh delicious dog friendly patio outside for your four-legged friends owners. Very welcoming lovely lady. The food was fabulous. I recommend everybody to go there and eat. It was absolutely delicious. We drove all the way from Orange county and was recommended to eat this place. I would definitely go there again. I would even drive down there from Orange county just to eat there. And if you like baba ganoush you will never have anything fresher than what they make. Tahini was fresh. Tabouli was fresh and the pita it's an old family recipe handed down from her family recipe. Fantastic Mediterranean restaurant with patio seating in the heart of Carlsbad Village! I ordered the beef shawarma wrap with salad, as well as the hummus trio to share. All three kinds of hummus were excellent; they even had a hummus on the sweeter side that tasted like it was made with beets! The two pieces of pita bread that came with this were incredible. My salad was made of fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and onions, but felt a tad on the oily side for me. The freshness of the vegetables still ensured it was delicious though. Fries were also available if you prefer. The shawarma wrap was flavorful, and we served with tzatziki by default. I opted to add a garlic sauce, and was very sad when I had scraped the last drops onto the wrap. It was very good. The meat was crisp on the edges and flavorful, and the pita was light and fluffy. The outdoor patio seating bordering the street was a lovely place to sit and take in the sights and sounds of Carlsbad. I highly recommend visiting this tasty gem of a restaurant. Finally found a great Mediterranean restaurant in the Carlsbad / Oceanside area! The food is very authentic and so flavorful and fresh. We ordered the chicken shawarma entree, and the kids ordered a chicken kebab plate. The place is very calming and casual! A must eat place if you’re visiting the village.
