Having seen Antanas Moncys House, it's time to have a rest at this restaurant. Perfectly cooked borsch, salads and pasta have a pleasant taste. Do not leave without degusting good syrniki. You may come across notes that wine is delicious here. Get your meal started with great coffee. Musicians play live music in the evening. A number of visitors suppose that the staff is well-trained at Vandenis. Professional service is something clients like here. Most people find that the dishes have reasonable prices. You will appreciate the nice terrace area and quiet atmosphere of this place. This spot is rated on Google 4.4 by its guests.

Score of three to reflect how average it is. We came with the family with a bit of expectation as we visited Vandenis 4 years ago. Perhaps the management or the owners changed but it's a different place now. It's much larger, well equipped and decorated (definitely lots of investment), but the menu gone down. It's largely traditional Lithuanian cuisine. Some dishes were good, but some very average. Our group was disappointed by service. Half of our table was still finishing our starters when all of our mains arrived. It felt they were rushing us out. Otherwise the service was good, just too efficient. If you want efficient and largely good food in a nice outside setting - that's the place for you. If you expect some special taste or meals - avoid it.
Despite bad reviews, we were pleasantly surprised by the restaurant. Food was very good for our taste. Prices average for Palanga. So all in all a good place to eat.

Fuimos a tomar algo, pedí un gintonic, se olvidaron poner la ginebra, se los dije y la encargada fue súper maleducada, nos trato súper mal y nos dijo que ella es así. Debería pensar trabajar en otra cosa.

The atmosphere was good very nicely decorated. The cepelini were amazing, but the Kiev kotlet was not that good, quite dry and the salad was not good either.

Came with recommendation to have some lunch. Less than Average food + found a curly black hair in my soup that I had to pay for. 😏 Asked for butter, got the lard, that we ‘be refused right away, also had to pay for it. Won’t be back.

This restaurant has become into something below average when it comes to food. We've been visiting very frequently in the past several years and the food has been ok before, however this year it's gone really bad. There is literally nothing to eat, dumplings always come cold, pasta always overcooked, fried bread never crispy, biggest joke is the "Caesars" salad which is just some regular salad with tomatoes. Everything hugely overpriced for what it is. Would not recommend.
Poor quality food and hugely overpriced for what it is. We were wondering if chef turned up to work that day. Staff were nice and polite but seemed stressed. It was sad to learn waiters have to pay customer walk out bills… we were only one evening in Palanga, so it’s a shame we spent it in this restaurant, we should have walked away.
