The salmon scramble valued for price. The portion size of the egg and salmon was very enough. The egg and the salmon weren’t too dry and they maintained their flavor but were nice together as well. I’ve been a fan of Urth cafe for decades. I used to go to and love the one in West Hollywood several times a week …but 20 years ago. So when my daughter suggested the one in Bev Hills recently, I was anxious to go. We went for lunch, and there was a long line. However, the line went quickly. You wait in line, order and then have the food delivered to your table. They have all the traditional bakery goods, great salads and other health conscious dishes. We ordered 1/2 a sprout sandwich and a side of soup and Nicoise salad and side of soup with two large cappuccinos. The soup was a little bit luke warm but I didn’t feel like battling the line to have that dealt with …But it was still flavorful. The salad was great and the sprout sandwich was great and the cappuccino were great. However the bill for just those things was $85! I don’t mind paying for great food and service but this seemed way over priced for what we got and the fact you have to wait on line and order from a counter. It is a lovely restaurant that has excellent decor and atmosphere. Urth green juice was freshly made and delicious. You can taste the fresh ginger. As for coffee, they have many options, and I tried the regular cappuccino and loved it. I am not really into flavored coffee; otherwise, I would have tried the Italian cappuccino. Give this restaurant a try for your healthy coffee drinks. I wished I was hungry because their breakfast dishes looked incredible. Came here on a Friday afternoon and it was extremely packed. Parking was difficult and took about 25 mins to get a table. You’ll need to order in line then get a table. Food was definitely worth it. Ordered the French toast which was exactly what I expected. The panini El Diablo was so delicious I wish I ordered two! Will definitely be back to Urth cafe but will do a less crowded location.
