BEST pies ever for those who prioritize buttery, flakey crusts over fillings (but honestly the fillings are fabulous, too). These pies are the best and remind me of my grandma’s family pie crust recipe! The apple, berry, and pumpkin are total favorites and a must have every holiday (and beyond). I recommend promptly ignoring all the harsh, critical reviews about the overly flakiness of the crusts - These are clearly people who have been eating low quality mass-produced pies where the crusts don’t flake at all because they have a heavy hand of hydrogenated oils versus real butter in them, so they simply stick together. If you appreciate real homemade pie, then you will likely love anything made by Upper Crust Pies! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Our family loves their pies. Every year from Thanksgiving to Xmas to NYE, we have to restrain ourselves from indulging in these pies on a daily basis. We love the crust flaky and buttery yet light and not overly sweet. The fillings taste fresh! The only complaint is it’s not on the cheaper side. Please keep it up! Food: 5

Watch out for thorns! Giving it 3 stars because I personally enjoyed the "Berry Supreme Pie" from Christine's -- crust, filling, taste overall was great. The problem is that my wife ran into a thorn when eating this pie. See picture. Probably will be buying pies from other producers in the future. Be careful!

I've bought a Christine's Upper Crust no sugar added apple pie twice at Whole Foods. The first time, I thought it was passable. The crust was way too crumbly and was simply not tasty (dry and flavorless). The filling is chunks of apples with almost no spice. The pie is expensive and at that price I certainly expected more. Because it was my first time buying this pie a couple years back, I thought maybe I got a bad one. Nope. I bought it a second time over this 2016 Thanksgiving. Had the very same problems. The crust is flavorless and dry, the apple filling has almost no spice and, in fact, there was at least one bad apple baked into this pie (putrid taste in parts of the pie). I've tossed half of the pie in the bin, which is unheard of for me. Even if the pie is barely passable, I'll still eat it to prevent waste. However, because of the bad apples in this one, I've tossed it. No sense in getting sick from food poisoning. Note, that I also bought a Whole Foods branded Marionberry pie at the same time (1/3 the price) and that is what I expect from a pie: flavorful, the crust holds up and filling is intense and rich. So much for Christine's Upper Crust pies. I won't be buying them again.

I brought 2 of the gluten free pies to Christmas dinner and they were sensational!!!! They were so much better than the other regular pies that were presented. Everyone asked where they came from! I loved the crust, it was perfectly flakey and very tasty. The apple and berry fillings were super delicious too! I will use ANY excuse to bring these pies to a gathering.

Purchase this pumpkin pie for the Xmas holiday dinner dessert from Whole Foods whom I trust for standing by the quality of the products and produce that they sell. Decided to try it Xmas Eve, and glad I did. It was horrible - absolutely tasteless, both pie and crust ( if you could call that mush pie crust ). Unsure if the crust was suppose to be a graham cracker type pie crust but it was tasteless, fell apart because it was stale as supposed to crumbly. The expired or purchase by date is December 28. I have baked many a pie and pie crust, but I cannot fathom how this pie and its crust could have passed the freshness, sniff and taste test with Whole Foods. I shop at Whole Foods for the quality of their food items, if I wanted mediocre foods products I would have shopped at a lesser quality supermarket, I really am disappointed in Whole Foods for agreeing to stock and sell this poor quality item in their stores. I will think twice before purchasing any other dessert item from Whole Foods again. The Xmas Holiday Season is not the time for Whole Foods to be experimenting with different sellers and their products as shoppers are depending on Whole Foods to have made the best product choices possible to present to their customers. I say that believing that Whole Foods has not been doing business with this company up until this horrific mistake. Upper Pie Crust has every right to make and sell mediocre products but shame on Whole Foods for accepting this low end, lack of quality product into their stores. Never again.

Honestly, Christine! I am from a family of meticulous bakers, and this is best pie I have ever tasted: Berry Supreme. I have not tasted your apple, cherry, or pecan pies. Lol, I have only purchased probably ten or twelve of the Berry Supreme. My next visit, I am going to venture out for the apple, and I will let you know...

The Pecan Pie was Delicious 😋 This is my first time trying Christines Pies. The crust was buttery and lots of pecans. Best I’ve Had Ever!
