Great food and attentive staff. The chips are fresh and hot. I loved the warmth and color of the environment - very inviting and relaxing. Nice place to have lunch with friends. The birria tacos were delicious. The consome wasn’t hot enough so I sent it back and they heated it and actually refilled it. Definitely a place we want to go back to try more of their dishes. Music wasn’t too loud, so we could talk. Reasonably priced too. The absolute best authentic Mexican restaurant in the Houston area. I live in the Woodlands area and I consider myself lucky to have such a gem so close to my house. I have tried multiple dishes from this restaurant and I have never been disappointed. Their food is 100% authentic and freshly made with the best ingredients. They also have beautiful presentation on all their plates. My favorite are the birria tacos with the enfrijoladas being a close second, honestly everything is superb here. I come to the restaurant often for dine-in and I order pick-up too, either way, I always get great customer service. Their drink menu is also really good, their palomas and margaritas are amazing. I can't wait to order some tamales during the holiday season. I am sure they will be great, just as the other ítems in their menu. Uli's Kitchen... this hidden gem is tucked back in Alden Bridge in The Woodlands! Opened 3 years ago at the onset of COVID and still going strong which says ALOT in this area (if you don't have good food, you will not make it in The Woodlands)! Carlos gave excellent service and Uli delivered magnificent dishes! Authentic food, incredible collaboration of flavors, amazing dining space, and overall experience! We could not decide so we had 3 entrées! We started with the Camarones Fritos which is a Tempura Shrimp drizzled with two amazing sauces! Then we moved into the 3 shared entrees which were the Mexico City Gringa (the best al pastor I have ever had), Tacos de Birria with a consomme dipping sauce that was off the chain, and Enchilladas Potosinas de Chorizo con Papa! Real Authentic Mexican Food! This is not a Texmex restaurant which is refreshing seeing as how many Texmex options there are. This is truly authentic, delicious Mexican food served fresh and with a great atmosphere and always great service! Every time we come there is something new and delicious to try with deep traditional roots emphasized in the flavors and presentation in each plate The owners are also some of the friendliest people you will ever meet and their passion for cooking shows brilliantly within each plate We hope you much success and we will be customers for life! This place is by far one of the best most authentic Mexican eateries there is in the woodlands and surrounding areas. Everything is great about this place. Let’s start off by talking about the staff, they are the best always making sure our glasses are full and greeting us by name. Really makes it feel at home. The food is delicious, if I could stop and eat here every day for lunch I would tho k about it twice. The chef Uli is by far one of the kindest, most knowledgeable person when it comes to Mexican culinary skills. Very attentive staff. From the server coming out and opening the door for us to Uli personally coming down to check on us and if everything is to our liking. Food was amazing! Fresh products, very tasty, really appreciated that it wasn't greasy or oily. We'll definitely be coming back for the traditional Mexican cuisine. Bonnie and David have the best food in town. If you are looking for a place that is hygienic, upscale yet budget friendly and excellent food and service this is your place to go. This was our first time at this place, my husband saw it on Instagram and it didn't disappoint, the food was delicious, a great atmosphere, and our waiter( Tyler) was polite and helpful. I'd give another star for the service if I could. I asked for a menu instead of using the disliked "scan QR with your phone" version of a menu. Out came a freshly disinfected tablet in a blue case. A tablet actually makes a decent menu, without having to zoom and scroll like you're playing a really bad "Where's Waldo" game. Chips and salsa is an appetizer, the chips are thick and chunky. The red and green salsas were surprisingly tasty with very very little heat. The chicken mole enchiladas came out quickly and were excellent. They looked good and the tortillas were chewy without being too chewy. Plenty of well seasoned chicken, a great mole that they didn't skimp on, drizzled sour cream and sprinkles of cheese made for one of the best enchilada mole plates I've had. The rice wasn't dry and had a great seasoning that went really well with the mole. Best of all, I was full but not stuffed when I finished the plate. The house margarita was decent, but the food was excellent and the service was better. Go here.
