We had lunch here. Traditional portuguese food that was excellent. Service was also excellent. We couldn't understand why there was a lineup at the restaurant next door, not here. We highly recommend avoiding the lineups and coming here instead! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I had never waited 2 hours to be served, on top of that the food was quite basic and nothing special, the waiters were rude and unprofessional, I would recommend hiring staff with at least the desire to work, a shame Even so, more than 40 minutes for the bill, all bad, what I enjoyed most was the Coca Cola in what the owner's friends call "the best restaurant in Silves" Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person €20–25 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Short staffed and rude waiters. If possible, go to Churrasqueira Valdemar. We went here because there was a que at Churrasqueira Valdemar (next door). We tried to talk to one of the waiters about a table for 8 people, he walked past us several times and just pointed at the terrace that it was full. However, there were several tables free, just not next to one another. We proposed to have two several tables and pointed at the terrace again. Some people on the terrace also seemed surprised by the way we were being treated and laughed about it. After trying several times we walked away. Service: 1

"Sorry we have no available tables at the moment, but come back in 35min and we'll have a table for you." We went for a walk and came back:".. sorry, the kitchen is closed, if you wanted a table you should have waited by the entrance until a table was ready..." So we went over to the neighbor who wanted to serve us lunch and had a really good piripiri grilled chicken😉

Great place for a traditional Portuguese meal. Everything is made their with fresh product. All cooked and prepared like at home. The staff are Friesland always ready to help you. You cam eat only outside no room. One part on the cover of the market the other under a tent. Grilled fish is the best as they grilled outside.

Enjoyed the meal but it was fairly basic piri piri chicken and chips. Have had better elsewhere and it arrived with no veg or salad. Soon ordered and received a salad but was surprised this wasn't mentioned when order first taken. Served by several different waiting staff and some were far more efficient than others.

Good food, good beer, good prices. What more do you want. We had Chicken piri piri, freshly cooked on the roadside. Very tasty and good value.
