I have ordered in advance about 2 weeks a cake from Thurta. The day before pick-up I called to ensure that all has been requested will be fulfilled as expected. When ordered the cake was clearly ordered with certain fruits (physalis) and berries to be on top exclusively. When picked up, kiwi, pear and walnut were used which clearly specified not to be used, the chocolate plate with the birthday wishes was not ready-made. Obvious miscommunication between the in-charged as well as a sort of lack of empathy and interest toward clients. A bitter taste and definitely a disappointing experience. Lots of things to improve! Beware ! Taste is not everything! Overall experience on negative spectrum. Service Take out Meal type Other Price per person lei 200+ Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Excellent cakes in a wonderful setting, close to all major hotels in Sibiu. It's located on a quiet street, but still close to the city center - so if you're a tourist staying at a hotel it's definitely worth checking it out for an afternoon coffee and cake. The decorations are very cozy with somewhat of a vintage style. Cakes are simply delicious and always fresh, and they also make good coffee and tea (I had a cappuccino and a green tea with lemon).

Tried 3 cakes at their backyard "bar and grill". Egyptian cake and whisky caramel cake were great. Penguin one was like the one from kinder so not a favourite of mine :)

I am not a big fan of the restaurant’s food, but I gotta give a 10/10 for the bakery and the cakes and the terrace area it’s beautiful 😻

This is a nice place to spend your time in. Cozy and full of light. They haven't got a big variety for vegans. Actually I ordered french fries and some vegetables, the only vegan option I could say. For lovers of meat might be the best place in town. They've got plenty of drinks options. The staff is just awesome. So take your time and visit the place, it is totally worthy it.

One of the view places where you can chill and eat really good sweets.....Childhood feeling .sweet sin... And now they have opened a Grill & Bar. And they don't disappoint... very Good
