I recently visited this newly opened Tropical Smoothie location and had an amazing experience! The staff were incredibly friendly and made sure every customer felt welcome and well taken care of. Despite being new, they showed great professionalism and efficiency.
Although there were a few minor kinks to work out, the staff promptly addressed any issues that arose and genuinely cared about improving the overall experience. It was refreshing to see their dedication to service, especially during the early stages of their operation.
The smoothies were simply fantastic! The menu offered a wide variety of fresh and vibrant tropical flavors.
The store had a clean and inviting atmosphere with ample seating options, making it an excellent place to relax and enjoy a refreshing drink, whether dining in or on the go.
In summary, I highly recommend this new Tropical Smoothie location. Despite being new and working out a few minor kinks, the staff's friendliness and commitment to customer satisfaction made the experience truly memorable. With their exceptional service and delicious selection of tropical smoothies, this location is destined for success. Stood at the counter for 15 minutes I was the only person in line. 3 employees were behind the counter no one greated me . They only went to the back and got another employee to take me order after i took a picture of the empty counter and started writing this review. Took a minute afterwards to get a receipt. Drink was amazing. Store was extremely clean and well kept. Staff just needs additional training in regards to greeting customers and taking orders in a timely manner. Staff were polite once they made contact with me. Once my order was taken it was made swifty with almost no wait.

Wait time for 1 smoothie was 34 minutes. The family ahead of me left without getting a refund because it was taking too long long and they were late but the employees said all orders were non refundable regardless of how long they take. It’s actually faster to drive somewhere else than wait here. There is one young guy doing everything while two other employees hang out in the back room. Doesn’t seem very efficient.

I’m a loyal customer to the Miami location but being from Louisville I wanted to try my own city’s. When I walked in, the vibe was just off. There was a woman who looked at me and didn’t greet me. She just kept going on about her business. First red flag. So I stand at the register waiting. No one acknowledged me. She saw me and turned her back. Then finally after she turns on the blender, she comes to the register to ask what I want. I tell her, and she angrily says “I can’t hear you.” I wanted to tell her what did she expect, she waited to greet and take my order while two loud blenders were on, so why would she react as if it was my fault that she couldn’t hear me? Not to mention when my bowl and smoothie were ready, the other employees were hiding to the far right of the counter and wouldn’t come up to even see if the bag just sitting behind the counter belonged to anyone. I got all the way home only to open my açaí bowl covered in coconut flakes and NO granola. Talk about a waste of my money and energy. I won’t be going back to this location.

This was my first time at Tropical Smoothie Cafe and it was a really wonderful experience. Ke'Oyndra was my server and she was incredible! Literally made my day! Although our interaction was brief she made me want to come back for another visit. Plus my smoothie was deelish! Highly recommend the Mango Magic smoothie!

The problem that I had with this visit to tropical smoothie was the fact that there was only one person making all the smoothies and food… his teammates managers/supervisor let him down. He might have even been the manager,I don’t know.But the app said my smoothie was going to be ready at 3:37 and I didn’t get my smoothie until 4:15. I ask how I can cancel he told me I had to do it in the app when I looked in the app, I did not see a place where I could’ve canceled the order.

Went to 2 locations on Shelbyville Rd. To go order. Left off all toppings of flatbread. Workers yelling at each other. Rude to us. Second location does not know how to process promotions. Today is 2nd to last day of use. Manager did not know what to do! Had no knowledge of promotions in the app. And very slow..

This location is terrible and not interested in improving. Stay away unless you want: 1) the slowest and worst service of any restaurant in town, and 2) to have to contact them half a dozen times over the course of multiple days to get a refund for an order you never received.

I walked into the restaurant at 8:30 pm tonight. I was the only customer in the restaurant. The team member was preparing 3 smoothies. After those were complete, he asked to take my order. When I asked for 2 Flatbreads, he immediately said "oh we're about to close. We're not doing food now" I looked at the time, it was 8:40 pm. If you stop serving anything at a certain time, you need to publish that as your closing time. What a joke.
