If anyone asks me about that one food corner i miss the most from Japan, it would be Torikuzoku. This place knows how to make you feel warm & like home by serving the bests of chicken.
Enter this place, keep your coats in the hanger & sit to order through the digital ordering process in the tabs placed in every table for as long as you want.
Their speciality is that they serve each & every part of chicken in different ways- grilled, fried, barbecued; and the comes those boiled eggs with the best white sauce of the world. They also serve these buns of melted cheese, its so rich & good.
This was our go to place whenever we felt hungry, as they have so many branches all over Japan, serving without tampering the quality at all. You should enter this place in an empty stomach because you just can't have enough of the items here.

My first nite in Osaka and head out straight for comfort food. Found this outlet which is smoke free .. superb outlet compared to the smoky ones I had in Tokyo. The skewers are all great, esp the tare ones. The rice is rather bland and disappointing. The soup with fluffy egg is quite good.

Authentic Japanese Yakitori! There’s no pricing on the menu because everything is at 360Yen, including the beer! The meat is chunky and juicy loaded! Would say a best place if you are looking for Yakitori! Everything comes in pair, so technically each stick of skewer is at 180Yen. Would be back next time if I visit Dotonbori!

Best yakitori or izakaya restaurant in Tokyo & Osaka. Skewers are deliciously tender & juicy.
Most of all.... prices are cheap (¥360) average per dish & varieties of drinks available beers, highballs , wine , sake & many more. Service is fast....Few yrs back I've tried in Tokyo & now Osaka.....never fails me. Keep it up 💪

Nice and affordable yakitori! Servings were generous, chicken thigh skewers has big chunks of meat despite affordable prices. Loved the steamed flavored rice and umeshu soda too.

This place gets knocked on their food quality as compared to other izakaya in Japan, but for the price, it's hard to beat. There are a few really tasty items on the menu as well.
In addition to the nice price (about 280 yen per item) you can order on an iPad which is a nice way to keep items coming without constantly calling the server over.
Finally, the ambiance and environment of this place is conducive to good conversation and having a great time with two people up to small groups.
