Such a great spot to spend with friends; they do not have food but a great variety of drinks and a bunch of games (such as pool, darts, etc). Staff is great as well. The music is terrific and the atmosphere is beyond this world. Adding that the dance floor opens up and the DJ plays fantastic music. Price per person $50–100 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

If you are going out in Lake Geneva, this would be the place I would recommend. There is always an upbeat atmosphere and great music. Pool, darts, pong, giant Jenga, slots, and alot more things going on every day. They have events all the time as well such as glow party, EDM night, ladies night, pajama night, seasonal and holiday nights, etc. There's always something going on there. Highly recommend.

Minimum $10 card transaction is a gimmick for those who don’t drink booz looking for a quick pop Had a water, I decided to leave and wasn’t allowed exit with that aforementioned water. Security lacks understanding and personality, seemingly looking to keep people around LG dehydrated. Very poor experience. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

A Thumbs patron many years ago it’s truly amazing what the current owners have done with this bar. So clean and nice!! No sticking to the floor here anymore!! A place for all ages - from middle-aged crazy ladies enjoying the Kentucky Derby in the late afternoon to college kids on the dance floor late night surrounded by gaggles of shot-consuming bachelorette- types wearing pink cowboy hats and silly sashes……. Thumb’s Up Saloon is the best for people watching and fun in downtown LG. Hard working bar tenders and a great sound system too!!

This place most definitely lived up to the online hype. I googled best bars in Lake Geneva and was not disappointed. Went on a Saturday night. There was a DJ and around 11pm is when this place really takes it up a notch. Met some great people and had a great time.

My daughter and I stopped in for drinks before an early dinner on 4/7/23. I paid the $29 tab with my credit card and specifically left a generous CASH tip. Apparently the bartender thought his subpar service was worthy of adding an additional $7 tip to my card as $36 cleared the bank.

Always have had a great time when coming here! The bartenders are fun, professional, and always very nice. They keep up with the big crowds later in the night beautifully! Never miss a beat! The music is always trendy and great to dance, I’ve never had a bad experience there! I highly recommend to anyone who asks for a cool place to go in Lake Geneva.

Really liked the photos, map and bottlecap art on the walls. While I appreciate that they have darts, it's in a very dangerous location right in the walking path to the dance area. I saw several people almost get hit with darts during the hour or so that we were there. We went during the Halloween Party in 2022; they had a decent DJ, and were playing Lifetime Movie Network's 'Shocktober' on one of the TVs. I didn't see a handicapped accessible restroom option, as there was no additional signage at the front of the bar indicating this. I was unable to relieve myself while we were there because of this, so we left early. That said, apparently they have them somewhere, they just aren't labeled properly so they lost some extra business from us that night.
