Went there for gas was going to pay credit card keeps on asking for pin number went inside to ask if they can turn pump on I'll pay with credit card did not know how much I put in they would not very rude. Time for a change in gas stations.
I went to this gas station today and had a bad experience. I use a company gas card and did all my normal things to pay at the pump and the pump said i had to go in to pay. I went to explain the situation and the cashier was insanely rude, a blonde woman, talking to me like i dont know how mu gas card works and telling me its my fault and to go try again. After that terrible customer service i went to the BP a few miles down the road. DONT GO TO THIS GAS STATION
I patronize Thorntons store #122 Elkgrove Village, Illinois. I went there to night to get cigarettes and your soft serve I cream, the machine was (OUT OF ORDER AGAIN). with no out of order sign on the machine,again. The reason I say again I stopped for gas 2 days ago and thought I would get a soft serve the manager of the same shift as tonight was on duty 2 days ago, he was cleaning the hot dog warmer and he saw I was attempting to retrieve the ice cream which came out like water, he saw my frustration and apparently new it was out of order,instead of saying something, I had turned to him and ask is something out of order, and he said yes. I don't know the managers name just description, short, dark haired and appeared to be Indian. This manager seems to have the shift that entails 7:15pm, Since I have been at this location many times with in this hour. He is extremely rude when he's at the register, then when another register is open I do try to avoid him. I don't know how you train your employee's but I would take another look at your training process. I'm not saying all the employees you have at this store reflect a poor attitude, you have many that go over and beyond in being a pleasant employee which makes it a pleasure for the patrons. I live within a mile from your store or I would go to another Thornton. For some reason this employee for gets we are the patrons which pay his salary. ( IT WOULDN'T TAKE A LOT OF EFFORT TO PUT AN "OUT OF ORDER" SIGN ON THE MACHINE) That's the managers obligation.
I have been coming here for years but maybe it's time to change today Patty was very ignorant and rude, I waited at the counter for 5 minutes when she came from the back and took the lady who just walked through the door.
There are no paper receipts available. You have to go in and ask for one. So slow, outdated ...and a cheap process. They don’t even have a sign to indicate that there is no paper or that it’s not working. Don’t go to this location if you need a receipt and you’re in a hurry. (Location- route 59 and Dayton, West Chicago IL)
Went in for gas and a few other items dealt with stephanie very helpful and professional will definitely be returning to that location specifically for her!!
