The place has a farmer's market with good prices, a relaxing atmosphere with pleasant views, we only drank milkshakes, the waiter was rather slow and unprofessional but that is not the end of the world. The cream on the milkshakes tasted a bit sour but the shake itself tasted good. You can certainly make a quick stop here on your way to further locations around the dam.

Not often that I do the 5 star thing, but this place has so much to be proud of.
The staff are excellent. As we walked in we were greeted by a very young lad. He asked all the right questions and then found us a perfect table. JJ, our waiter was quick with the drinks and made a suggestion that was really tasty. While sitting we were attended to and check on to see if we were satisfied and if we needed anything.
The location and atmosphere was perfect. The Gardens are well maintained and quite serene.
I will definitely be visiting again.

We ordered some waffles and coffee when we visited the windmill restaurant. I thought I would try something fancy and ordered the apple custard waffle. I do feel like there's just way too much going on. I think just a normal waffle with ice cream would've been perfect. Otherwise, great place to relax, have something to eat and enjoy the view.

We requested a taste of the chocolate cake and it tasted good but the waiter said he will get the one from their other kitchen to serve us as it was fresher. On the first bite, we found a foreign object which we could not identify which was round and fibrous and might have been from some kind of packaging or machine part and the next bite was about to be taken when a long black strand of hair was picked up with the chocolate sauce or icing!! Very disgusted, we called the waiter who agreed that this was unacceptable and he blamed it on the supplier. The manager had the audacity to tell us she will not charge us for the cake which was uneaten and sent back! They didn't even offer another dessert on the house and we still paid for our 2 beverages! No customer service or remorse by anyone as this place. I had heard good things about this restaurant but I will never go back there again!

Very disappointed. From the average cappuccino, chips that taste old, to be told due to the egg shortage, only 1 egg allowed per customer, but you can substitute the egg with mushrooms or toast. Asked for extra mushrooms, only for the kitchen to give you boiled mince. Overpriced, Save your money for Wimpy

From the first bite to the return trip, a resounding "YUMMMYYYYY!!!" echoed through our taste buds. While the GOOD Waffles were unfortunately out of stock on our second visit, the sugary treat that followed was still amazing. The sweetness prompted us to share the portion, and it was more than satisfying.

Jade and the staff continued to impress with their friendliness and warmth, making each visit memorable. They even graciously assisted us in capturing a lasting moment with a picture.

With spring/summer painting vibrant colors around us, the atmosphere was simply stunning. The blooming beauty of the surroundings added an extra layer of delight to our dining experience. Also the addition of a small market and a fruit and veg shop on-site adds to the charm, making every visit to Harties a delightful treat.

Coffee was substandard, waffles were ok, but the tables didn’t give me the sense of cleanliness or pride in establishment.
Yet another establishment which seems to be struggling to recover from the hard times of civid.
