One of the things I seriously appreciate about Sri Lanka was the food - but, to be honest - after coming back for 5 years, sometimes I get a bit tired of “rice & curry” menus. That is way I was very happy to discover this amazing vegan cafe. The menu is different from most of the places, tho food is very tasty, atmosphere chilled & the boys running it super kind & friendly. Just 2 little episodes from this week: I wanted to write something but was bothered by the music - they turned it off just so that I can do my thing 💞 Also, I was getting bitten by mosquitoes & the waiter jumped on his bike and went straight to the store to buy me a repellent. 💞 I highly recommend this place! 🍬 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Porridge

The staff is nice but I want to give an honest review on the food. This is the „vegan ramen“ I got…. I am literally speechless, maybe I should not expect there’s something near to ramen. This is instant noodle soup with veggie and and tofu in a spicy broth. Maybe instant noodle you buy in the supermarket is even better. Portion wise is also pretty small. I don’t know about other item on the menu tho! Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Amazing vegan food! Great staff, family owned. They take care for their guests and keep everything super clean. Came here twice, once for dinner (Burgers & Spaghetti were excellent) and for lunch (possibly the best Hummus ever and a delicious, big Buddha Bowl) - highly recommend this place! I can‘t speak highly enough of this hidden gem: every single dish we‘ve tried was absolutely delicious! Great place! Not a vegan lover but I have to say this restaurant was outstanding. We ate a really tasty Jackfruit hamburger and Hummus with roti. Service lovely. Definitely I will repeat. lovely little cafe/restaurant behind the souvenir shop, we ate there twice and both times were delicious … they get some of their fruits and vegetables straight out their garden in the back! maybe they can work on to make a bit bigger portions but if you have starter first or dessert after it‘s totally fine, tasty juices and good vibes too! Great to have a fully vegan restaurant in Hiriketiya! The food was a little overpriced if you consider the size of the dishes. We had to order a second main course to not leave hungry.
