This place was amazing, when with my friend who is gluten free. Many options and they serve organic as possible. We had the clams and garlic apps to start which were nice. Then I had the lemon piccata chicken which was amazing, really cool breading how they did it. So many delicious options and we got to go and the feed back was super delicious. Server was very friendly and knowledgeable. Wait time was 15ish minutes. Food was about $25 per person. The lemon chicken dish was a pleasant surprise. The Alfredo is very herby, still pleasant, but just not very alfredo-ey. Overall a decent experience. We may go again sometime and try something else. While I would not dispute the ratings that other people left as I previously would have left similar reviews. Tonight was awful from the beginning when walk in customers were seated before us even though we were right on time for our reservation. The hostess brought the water and eventually our waitress came and took our drink and food order. Normally we decide on our drinks and when they are brought out we order food. She did bring our drinks and said she would be back with our bread. After waiting a while the bus boy brought out the bread. A different waiter brought our food and of course he didn't know who had what and got it wrong (little concern). Had to flag down the waitress to get boxes for leftovers. She did ask about dessert which we declined and brought our check. The rest went promptly. Oh the food was not to the standard that I have come to expect here. The lasagna had one layer of pasta and the sausage had been over cooked. Practically everyone seemed lost with no purpose, simply bouncing here and there aimlessly. We were not the only customers that seemed distressed over service and food. There seemed to be no one in charge and the inmates were not doing well running the place. We enjoyed a lovely dinner here last week. We ordered the calamari and clams for appetizers. Calamari was pretty standard but the clams were great!!! They were loaded with Parmesan and fresh basil, so delicious! For entrees we had shrimp alfredo and chicken carbonara. Both were perfectly prepared and really good. We were too full for dessert but do want to mention that our server was attentive and friendly. All in all it was a lovely evening and we will be back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I have always loved the Vine Restaurant and especially their famous lasagna. They have great specials and you should check them out on IG. The chef is really turning out some yummy stuff! The staff is always friendly and our favorite server is Sue, that is so sweet and will go out of her way to make sure everything is always to our liking. Go give the Vine a try! Our family went to The Vine to celebrate my daughter’s, who recently diagnosed with Celiac disease, birthday with family. This was the first time in Southern Oregon she’s been able to order nearly everything on the menu because it all can be gluten free. The staff was amazing and so helpful and knowledgeable about celiac. The food was delicious and for the first time in a long time, everyone in the family LOVED their meals. This made my daughter’s day and we will definitely be back. I highly recommend The Vine!!! This place is a hidden gem here in Grants Pass. How I only heard of it today, I'll never know! Look, the chicken parm was like I've had so many times on the east coast, AMAZING!!!! My wife had a shrimp plate, and it was delicious!!! Not only is the food great, but huge portions!!! Now the staff??? OMG, they're always on the lookout just in case you might need something. They're just the best!!!! My wife and I will make it a regular monthly night out! Did I mention affordability???? We ate, had 2 beers each and I think before the tip, it was 60.00. Very affordable! Everything was great until we went to pay our bill. My brother had a gift card, that was bought before new management. I live in SC so I didn’t know this. Our $50 gift card was refused. Poor customer service/relations not to offer us any discount. Experience left a very negative impression of this new manager!! Delicious food! The Vine is by far the best Italian food I have ever had. I've had plenty of bland noodles and tasteless steaks or Prego flavored spaghetti but NOT HERE. Every dish we ordered was outstanding. I highly recommend trying the Vine yourself.

My first visit. Seriously delicious, every bite. Can't wait to return. This is just me, but I'd darken the mustard or tan colored walls to a richer color, the awesome music a bit louder in the back section, and lower the lights a little with candles lit on the tables. That's just me, but it would then be PERFECTION! Thank you for a wonderful 68th birthday dinner with a dance and kiss from the waiter!
