Great place for cocktails! Loved the bar’s own infusions. The hostess was very hospitable and made some great recommendations. They have live music nights and the one that was playing when we visited featured a live cello which was lovely to hear! Prices are steeper than the rest of Malta but would recommend for the experience Price per person €30–35 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Really decent drinks (probably the best cocktails we’ve had in St Julian’s). The staff were friendly and attentive at first but the big let down was that we couldn’t get service a couple of hours in, as things got busier. Waited 45 minutes to get the bill in the end and had to ask multiple times. There was only one person working the floor and even though she did a pretty good job, it was clearly too much to handle. Shame as we had a pretty good time up until that point. Wouldn’t recommend on a busy night. Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

The Thirsty Barber is a great pub to relax and have a good time. The ambience of the place is lovely. Music is good. The drinks are grand. But the best part of this place is their staff. Friendly, courteous and attentive. Bartenders know their drinks well. I definitely enjoyed my evening and will recommend this pub to everyone. Price per person €10–15 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We came here because of the good reviews.. However, the coctails are very small and very pricey. Not the best coctails anyway. The worst is that we asked for tap water along with our coctails, and the waitress ( the blond english one) mocked us about asking for tap water. Why? Is there any problem with that? In my country they serve water and nuts for free along with the drinks. Save yourself some.money and go to the best bar in.the next corner . Price per person €10–15 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Great cocktails, great live music and a great vibe! Walking along the area with all the clubs and restaurant overwhelm your senses - there’s far too many sounds and lights! But this great venue tucked away is intimate, engaging and relaxing. Definitely will return on my trip! Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

First bar entered after dropping the bags at the hotel and what a wonder! Nice setup and theme, friendly staff, and good music selection when there is no live music playing! Cocktails are also good and not expensive! Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We had a private party here before our wedding for 70+ guests. The experience was incredible. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The drinks were amazing. It was relatively well priced. The whole ambience is great and every had a great time. Also the smoking are has seats for the lazy people! Many thanks to the whole team for our night. Phenomenal live music bar! The service was amazing as I had to cancel first night due to flight delay. They still honored my reservation the next day. Drinks were great and live music (every W, F, Sa) was GREAT! They did cover songs and entire place enjoyed it. I highly recommend for anyone in the area. Nice vibe, great service, and fun experience. What a little gem! Loved the live music and it’s just the right size to create a really good atmosphere. Table service was quick and efficient and the cocktails were well priced and delicious. Loved the decor too (stands out vs most the generic bars in Malta!). Great find!
