Great service and even better food! The staff were super lovely and more than happy to show us the smokers and set ups. The food is to die for! The Stoaker dog was ok but the ribs and the pork belly sandwich were melt in your mouth delicious well worth a visit! The desserts were also delicious if you can find the room for them Service Dine in Meal type Lunch

Food were tasty; meat were tender and juicy. But they were not smoky which is a little bit disappointed for us. Very good service. We're interesting to try their butcher feast if we have more people

Wow! What an amazing food experience! We loved everything we ordered, the food is so delicious and the local wine is great as well. If you pass by Cromwell do yourself a favor and stop here to have a meal. Highly recommended! 👌🤤 Service Dine in Meal type Lunch

Wow. Great staff, great food, iconic South Island style. We had a few today so got the share platter and wine tasting flight. Wonderful. Worth the drive

Absolutely delicious! Everything on our tasting board was exceptional. Obviously this place is known for its smoked meats but the sides were just as good! Potatoes were actually roasted and crisp, the couscous salad another surprising winner (I’m normally not a fan). Also when the food came out we were both unsure how we were going to eat it all, but we did!

Was here on the 29th May21. I am quite happy to rate this place with 5 stars. It was a mere 6°c in Cromwell this evening. The Stoaker room was warm with good ambient lighting. The lady and gentlemen serving us were courteous happy and obliging. The food: I myself had the lamb rack and roast potatoes. Those with me had the platter. The meats were cooked superbly and the flavors of the food were just beautiful. Very well done on the venison also which was part of the platter. The plates/platter the food was served on was fantastic and added to the enjoyment and visual taste of being here. Very impressed and I would have no hesitation in recommending this establishment or coming back here. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - well done, as I dont give 5 stars lightly.

A great find while on the road. They smoke all of their meat in old wine barrels. The taste isn’t overwhelming and the meat is moist and tastes great. We did the sharing plate with a wine tasting pairing. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly and there were options to sit indoors or outdoors. Great views and beautiful decor. Highly recommend.

As a travelling group of 9, we tried the Butcher’s FEAST as well as the Stoaker Dog. The smoked meat were tasty & tender , even the salmon, cooked just right, not dried but remained juicy! Highly recommend when in Cromwell 👏👏👍👍 Service Dine in Meal type Brunch

Brilliant fun, smokey food cooked in a wine barrel, wine pairing served in jam jars! Service was great. We ate in the marquee at the back, lovely pub atmosphere, relaxed and friendly. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
