I Had the “Chef Special” Bone in sirloin steak for $49.99 I have never had such a horrible steak. I should have sent it back as soon as I had to use all my muscle just to cut through it. The waitress asked if I wanted to send it back, I said no, I thought maybe it would get better as I got closer to the bone. It did not get better. After speaking to the manager at checkout, I was told that I ate more than 60% of the steak which I didn’t. I was told I had to pay my full bill. My wife also got a steak pie that was also terrible. The vegetables in it were all raw. Totally over rated. We have wanted to go there for 16 years and never were able to make it without a 2 hour wait. Not worth the wait or the money! HORRIBLE!!! The waitress we had was Jenna. She was so awesome . The service she gave was above and beyond our expectations. The food was so delicious 😋 I got the lazy lobster and my husband got the duck . Best meal I ever had. Lazy Lobster, Filet Mignon, stuffed Lobster, Lobster stew, fresh bread, salad.... and good drinks and service. Expensive in the end but, never eaten that good ever! Good but not worth the price or wait. This place is very popular and had good reviews, so we were disappointed by mediocre food and high prices. The chili boneless chicken wings were very good as was the Caesar salad. I ordered the surf and turf - steak tips with lobster tail. The steak tips were very tender but had no seasoning. The lobster was overcooked and rubbery. The rice pilaf was bland. The place is very noisy and it took a long time to get our food. Again, it wasn't bad. Just wasn't worth the price. I had been trying to go here because it's always busy. Finally, we went before opening, and there were dozens of people waiting to get in. The friendly staff took us right to a table on the second of 3 floors. The food was awesome and worth the hassle of getting in. This will be on our definite go back to place. As soon as I walked into this place I had good vibes. It has multiple levels with old school wood and lightening throughout. It has that rustic lodging look and feel to the restaurant. The place was packed but we only had to wait about 20 minutes before being seated. I tried the white sangria which was delicious, perfectly made and tasted like the fruit had been infused with the wine. For appetizers, steamed mussels in a white wine sauce, the mussels were fresh, plump and great. The white wine sauce could have used a little bit more flavor, but it was still enjoyable and the bread that they served with the muscles was grilled perfectly. For an entree we both had the ribeye steak, mine with broccoli and rice pilaf. My BFF had mashed potatoes and asparagus for sides. Both steaks were nice sizes, flavorful and cooked perfectly. Loved the flavor of the rice pilaf and asparagus. Too full to order dessert. I would definitely come back to the steakhouse. Loved every minute of it. The price was to be expected, but for the portions and what I ordered didn't mind at all. The waitress was awesome! It was a great experience. FYI for people that are new... you must go upstairs in order to make your reservation. Came here during our family vacation in the off-season. Waited approximately 40 minutes to get in but the payoff was massive. This place is absolutely fantastic and I can see why there is always a wait. I started with the French Onion which was probably one of the best I have ever had. For my entree I ordered the Surf and Turf with the scallops and loaded baked potato. The meal was delicious and prepare perfectly. I was very pleased with the quantity and quality. I also ordered Maine Blueberry Cobbler for desert but at the time of writing this review I was still too full to eat it. The staff was fantastic as well. Jenna D is AMAZING and I would wait an hour to be seated in her section. She was very kind, thorough and helpful. She took the time to answer all of my grandfathers questions despite the place being packed. We will for sure be back in the future.

Worth the 40 minute wait. The steak was a beautiful cut and cooked to perfection . The French onion soup was masterful! Yes even their Cesar salad was bar none! House made croutons and dressing served very cold is their key! We sat in the bar area downstairs which was more to our liking. Very cozy and the seating was ever so comfy...not usually the case for me in a bar setting! The waitstaff were a well oiled machine and very friendly and patient!
