This was a great experience. The stage is huge for a venue this size. You could accommodate a large band easily. The lights and sound are great. They have good seating. The bar is stocked and they've got your favorites from Cavendish Brewery. Plus they a shot called an Applesauce Shot - don't knock it until it's knocked you.
We went to see The Graveyard Boulevard and had a really good time. I'd like to see some of my favorite local Charlotte bands come over and play. Would be nice to drive less than 35 minutes for once!

What a cool place! Michael takes a lot of pride in what he has built and rightfully so. This place has such a cool vibe. We went on Wednesday open mic night. Had an absolute blast. This place literally has something special planned for every night of the week, so check the schedule regularly. For now Wednesdays have my vote, and I'll be there every chance I can.
Atmosphere is nice here the Rooster 🐓 Michael goes above and beyond to give Gaston County a place to socialize with friends, enjoy live bands of all genres, hear crazy stories from comedians and much more. I've had many memorable experiences here.

The owner, Michael, is absolutely amazing and is always welcoming us in like family. We drive 45 mins here multiple times a week because of the great atmosphere, music and welcoming staff! The bartender, Melissa, is super sweet and the drinks are always great! Prices are amazing for bar prices and you never know what music you will see! We will be here every chance we get!

They had two really good bands there. I don't remember the names but one did Red Hot chili peppers and the other one did sublime and they were really good. The owner was very nice. It was a good time

A cool spot, definitely great sound & lighting. The place is top-notch and a cool spot to play or see live bands. The staff was extremely accommodating for myself being a photographer and helped out if anything was needed. Definitely would see a show there or recommend it to one of my clients/friends to book a gig there!!! A+ staff makes a world of difference! Thanks guys!
We went to check it out on Wednesday because it was open mic and my step son was going to be playing with his friends so that was the main reason for going but ended up being a great little place, the only reason I didn't give a rating for food is because we didn't eat anything at Rooster (but they made good drinks) and everything else was nice for a pub/bar type atmosphere. If you like live music or you just want to bring your instrument to play solo or even with some of the players, singers, it's definitely a good little bar and everyone is real friendly, so stop by and check it out, and if you sing, pick an instrument, or if you can play anything else, then you should give it a chance, I had a great time and I know that you will too!
