This place......delicious. The specialty flavors are sensational. I had an order of jalapeno mashed potato - it changed my life. The traditional potato and cheese...also delicious. Potato and cheddar: I ate the whole portion - the larger sizing - without realizing what I was doing. I just knew I liked what was going on and needed more of it. I believe they have catering options too. Go now before its too late. Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Traditional Potato
Unbelievably exceptional. The best potato pancakes, pierogis and golumpkis I've ever had anywhere. Handmade on site with each order. Patrons either order ahead and come in to pick up their large paper bags of food or can sit at one of the two small tables in the window. We originally saw this driving in and out of Shelton on Bridge St. a week earlier but couldn't figure out in the time we had crossing the river how to get down to their Shoppe. Leaving town, we saw people can drive down the ramp off of the bridge to the section below that has various stores and parking lots. We did this the following week successfully, though the owner told us there were different routes, as well, which the locals must know. The plan was to bring some pierogis to a family member who loves them as a surprise. We ordered eight of the traditional potato and cheese boiled, three golumpkis (you'll see this on their menu board spelled as it is in Polish "Gołąbki ") and my partner wanted to try a modern spin on pierogis and ordered eight of the cheesy buffalo chicken filled pan fried, which is the default way the pierogis are cooked here. The woman behind the counter told us they had potato pancakes for sale today, too, which they were soon going to feature with a new brunch menu on the weekends. Loving these we bought three which came to an order. I didn't intend to eat any of the pierogis but one of the cheesy buffalo chicken just to sample how these tasted. I started with a potato pancake which had beautiful color to it. Golden and brown with small unseared spots which revealed the fresh white shredded potatoes under the crispy exterior. Served with sour cream and sliced scallion ends, it was pure heaven. Only one made it home for the gift recipient as my partner had to have one, too, but they are a good size so one works. The buffalo chicken pierogi are interesting and tasty but different. My partner liked them a lot. Beautifully pan fried. I had to try the well-known potato and cheese one. Dreamy. Ordering these boiled, the delicacy of the mix inside was easily savored on its own. Plump with a creamy filling the Rogi Shoppe's are perfection to any other. Three for three in terms of amazing food, we had to try a golumpki. An order of three comes with each one sliced in six pieces so we each had three. We thought we might only have one slice because we've both had these before in various places, some Polish some not, and never thought much of them. Not the Rogi Shoppe's. These cabbage rolls are delicate wrapped treasures of goodness. Warm, moist, mildy but correctly seasoned with quality ground pork and tender rice, we could have eaten all three we were going to take home. A young woman went in before us and ordered the kielbasa dinner with three pierogi and sauerkraut plus the potato pancakes. Rogi's only uses Martin Rosol's kielbasa here. Excellent choice. It looked great, too, sliced on the diagonal. She sat at one of the two tables and looked quite happy eating her lunch. There is a cooler of a couple of U.S. sodas, Polish made sodas and bottled water to drink. We tried the Apple Mint bottled soda from Poland but couldn't figure out how to open it so the woman bringing our order showed us how. Noted. If we lived nearby we would absolutely eat here at least once a week. What a treat for town or nearby residents. Open 11:30AM to 8:00PM Tuesday thru Saturday; Sundays 8:00AM to 5:00PM. Closed Mondays. We will definitely be coming back for more when we're even within a thirty mile drive. Enjoy. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
Food was amazing! Highly recommend. You can order a 6-piece pierogi and request half and half for flavors. I ordered a ton of food with my girlfriend. The steak pierogis were AMAZING and I highly recommend that one during your visit (that’s not to say the others were bad. They were all good). You can buy sour cream if you need it for just 50 cents, you get a good bit of it (plenty for an individual I think). They have more than just Pierogis, though I think it’d be weird to come here and not try them. We tried the potato pancakes, this was my first time having them and it was delicious. Girlfriend has had potato pancakes before and said they were great. 10/10 recommend Service Dine in Meal type Lunch

Went here after a TikTok vid to see what the hype was all about and was not disappointed ...tried the spinach and cheese....cheddar potato....mushroom onion...and the steak and cheese pierogi....they were made well juicy...well seasoned ...liked the steak the best. They also had different dipping sauces to choose from not just sour cream lol....I recommend the chipotle .....we also ordered potato pancakes that were pretty tasty......place reminds me of new Brittain s polish restaurants ....but be prepared for a line ....place is tiny and only has seating for a few ... Wow! Saw their Instagram post, started following them and decided to give it a try, did pick up. Place was very clean, organized and friendly! It was Amazing! Even my Italian hubby loved it! I ordered 6 pc potato and cheese with onions, 6 pc steak and cheese with onions and bacon. Pierogis were browned perfectly and fillings were substantial, even the steak ones. Toppings were excellent! Also ordered kielbasa and kraut, the kielbasa was grilled to perfection! Kraut was very good also. Finished with apple pierogis with a caramel drizzle and fresh made whipped cream! Soooo good! I highly recommend trying out the Rogi Shoppe! I will definitely go back to try more! 3/21/23 Still amazing Polish food! Also more traditional items added to their menu! Yum Yum! Thanks Rogi’s! Food was very good. Expected potatoes in every perogie but whatever is specified is exactly what is in it. The perogies were very tasty but too oily, made me a little sick afterwards. Will have to try them boiled next time! Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I was looking for a new spot for lunch and found this hidden gem. Parking was confusing to figure out when using Google maps but there's plenty of parking around back. I ordered the kielbasa with the steak and cheese dumplings. Food was amazing!! Will definitely be going back soon Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20
10/10 recommend!!! First timers on their 1st Sunday open- the kielbasa egg & cheese is a MUST. Didn’t even need a sauce/topping! We had the traditional potato cheese, buffalo chicken, steak & cheese and pork pirogies- very, very good!! The service was great, felt very welcomed and appreciated. Also don’t forget to try one of the polish juices in the glass bottles. We will most certainly be back! Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $10–20
