This place is very lovely! The staff are wonderful and social, and the food tastes incredible. I had the buffalo chicken flat bread, with the gluten-free cauliflower option. My sister had the tuna poke. Both were excellent and well exceeded our expectations. Thank you Josh for the great service. This restaurant also has live music and karaoke which was very enjoyable. Come here for the drinks, not for the food.

I want so badly to like this place. The atmosphere is good, and it is walking distance to my house...but the draft beer is $7.50 as of writing this, which is pricey (though might just be the sign of the times and not Periodic's fault). What I found most disappointing is the last 5 times I've eaten here (over a timeframe of a year), the food really is not great. I've had everything from the Shepard's pie to the Strip steak, and it all just has the texture and quality of being dry, not cooked well, or just off. The appetizers are generally good from what I've experienced, so just coming up for a drink and lite fare might just be the way to go. I like that they are trying with events, I really hope they make some quality changes to the menu so that they can stick around for while because the atmosphere really is nice, but it will be some time before I have dinner here again for the cost and quality.
