Pork belly crackle wasn’t crackle soft and was on the small side compared to the photos I’ve seen and with only 4 beans, small smear of purée veg, on the plus side taste good, and the dew sauce with so Tasty. Chips were so good flavours, the aioli sauce was running (weird) . Burnt cheesecake looked good, I personally took the top off, not my favourite tbh, each to their own, ice cream portion was small. Ice mocha was nice. Service was good at getting the food out in time, slow if your after a cocktail or 4 with your meal, to busy chatting to each than taking notice of the people in the restaurant. The hint was stacking plates to the side, but nope, all good though . They were friendly enough. On entering The Pedal Pusher in Rolleston, we were warmly invited in & made to feel very welcome there. We ordered the Pork Belly Benny & the Bacon Pasta. We asked for our coffees to be served along with our meals. The Pork Belly Benny meal was delicious. The serving of the pork belly was on the small side, but with the 2 poached eggs & some potato rosti's, it was plenty for me overall. The poached eggs were cooked to perfection & are by far the best poached eggs that I've had in a while! My daughter loved the Bacon Pasta & said that it was also delicious. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals & the coffee was great. We agreed that we'd definitely return here again, for a meal in future. The waitress that served us was lovely. She was attentive, friendly & took time out to have a chat to us. With lots of menu choices available, she was able to make recommendations to us, that helped with our final choices. The Pedal Pusher is a really popular place which has a good vibe. It's well worth checking this establishment out. Next time, we've decided that we'll try the Big Breakfast. Thanks to Management & all the staff, chefs etc. at The Pedal Pusher - for making our first visit really enjoyable. We'll see you soon! Unfortunately had the driest waffles I’ve had.. not sure if they’re made in house but they didn’t seem freshly made which is a shame. They were cold dry waffles. Could not finish my meal which never happens. Should have stuck to what I know and got a big breakfast. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $20–30 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
Food was great. Went with our 2 year old and asked for his food first to save a potential melt down. His food was out within minutes. Our meals were top notch. Best pasta and steak we've had. Highly recommend 👌 Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Came for dinner and have to say very disappointed with customer service. After menus were given to us, waitress told us she would be back in 5 minutes to take our food order. 15 minutes later still no order taken so we had to go to bar and order. Even then, no immediate acknowledgment as bar staff chatting amongst themselves. Food was quick to come out, but when waitress came to check on food, didn’t even bother to ask if we wanted another drink. Poor customer service when it wasn’t busy. I often dine at our local Pedal Pusher with family members. My husband and myself also frequent this establishment regularly. We have always found the food to be consistently good and the service and staff excellent. Special thank you to Jordan who has such a lovely manner. I always look forward to going back to this restaurant as often as I can. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Eggs Benedict

Had a great time at quiz last night. Service was excellent, kept us all topped up with drinks and food. Yummy dinner, Cream Brulee was the best dish of the night. Delicious! We will get making it a regular night. 🙂 Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Creme Brulee
Bad experience. They wouldn't take our phone order, so we drove in and ended up waiting WAY longer than expected for a couple of toasted sandwiches and chips (over 20 minutes). We noticed our food was eventually ready but realised they had failed to cook some of our order. They didn't tell us this (which would have been a nice courtesy), we observed it ourselves. We then asked for a refund for just the food that wasn't cooked, which turned into a big deal - apparently they couldn't do that. After we insisted, they eventually agreed, but couldn't get the cash register to work for the small refund. By this time our cooked food was sitting on the bench for about 5-10 minutes getting cold, so we then asked for a full refund which took another 5 minutes to get out of the till. I felt the staff spoke with us abruptly through the whole process. Won't be going back, and would suggest the same for everyone. Service Take out Meal type Lunch Food: 1 Service: 1

I originally gave this place an amazing review but since the change of ownership, service has really slipped. Staff will clear drinks from the table but don't ask if you want food or another drink. That is when they come! Creme brulee arrived and wasn't set either. Bottom third like chunky milk. Was asked if I was happy to eat it - I did but didn't know how bad it was further down 🥺 first and last creme brulee I'm getting here this year. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4
