From the moment we arrived the team and Chef Roberts made us feel so special. The food was a culinary explosion of taste and beauty. The service was spot on. It's nestled in the redwoods and absolutely gorgeous. Thank you so much for making my birthday so special. We will be back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Overall, very disappointing. Quality ingredients. However, the food was so salty that it was nearly inedible. I could only finish half of entree and my wife left about 2/3rds of hers. Even the salad dressing was heavily salted. After dinner we were served tea in a pot of room temperature water so the tea did not steep, and the tea itself was a basic numi tea bag. Came for valentine's dinner! Overall the cooking here is quite good. The meats especially were superb. The filet minion, duck breast, grilled quail, and foie gras were all excellent. The dishes in general were well constructed with an interesting mix of ingredients complementing the centerpieces well. The trend in utilizing some more local variations on mainstays added unique flair to each one. Drinks were pretty strong and fairly creative. It is worth getting a cocktail or two. If we may offer a critique: we felt the dessert course was a little weak. The Panna Cotta was bit overpowered by the passion fruit jelly topping, and the Hazelnut Tart while good, was not really outstanding in any way. We do plan on visiting again, overall the meal was compelling, so I'm pretty excited to explore their day to day menu.
