Come here for some rest after a long walk around Main Street Children's Museum. Visit this place and try great coffee. Employees are cheerful that's what makes The Mercantile so good. Prices are found good here. You will definitely appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and nice decor. Based on the guests' feedback on Google, this place deserved 4.7.

I rented the upstairs space of The Mercantile for my sister’s baby shower, and it could not have been more perfect! The space is eclectic and interesting and doesn’t need much at all in the way of decorating to be a stunning venue. Brittany was so kind and accommodating and responded to my (many) questions quickly. She was so helpful, sending me pictures as I live out of the area, showing some of my family the space so I could see it over FaceTime, and then allowed me to see upstairs when I randomly stopped by while in town. They have a ton of options as far as food, drinks, tables, decor, most anything you can’t think to throw a party; however, there is absolutely no pressure to use them if you have other vendors or prefer to DIY. If you’re looking for an incredible and unique venue in Rock Hill with the added benefit of supporting a local business that is doing great things for the local community, you’ve found the perfect place!

Pretty cool shop with various gifts and home goods with an attached cafe. Everyone working is the cafe and the gentleman at the front were super friendly.

The most beautiful shop! There is something for anyone and everyone and it’s hands down the best place to buy unique gifts. The cafe located inside has amazing coffee, drinks, and food, and the service is top notch. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the staff are always so nice and helpful. The owners have hearts of gold and their dedication to the shop and their customers is unmatched. I cannot recommend this place enough.

The Mercantile bills itself as a modern day general store - and I think that is the perfect description, as they carry a little bit of everything! I appreciate the care and consideration they put into choosing local and sustainably-made items - and I can't wait to come back to create a floral arrangement sometime!

Very nice store and cafe! The staff is very friendly. I love that this is a dog friendly place, too! Shout out to Olive, always smiling and attentive to customers.

The Mercantile is my FAVORITE place to be! I love to shop there for gifts and for myself. They have such an amazing variety of items from clothing, plants, stationary, books, home decor, bath & body, and more. Their cafe & wine bar is super yummy! It's a great place and space to gather with friends. They host a variety of events - I've taken a candle making class and a painting class previously - and there are so many more classes I want to take in the future. They do a lot for the community which is just one of the many reasons I love it so much. Check it out!
