Service was great. Restaurant is beautiful especially in the courtyard. Fans were on full blast so did not feel warm at all. Food was good. We opted for the Ragu pasta as a starter - was delicious. The octopus was a large portion and the rabbit was slightly salty. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Really nice restaurant in the center of Mdina. Heated courtyard and lovely ambiance. Service was great! The dolmades and falafel were the highlights. The ravioli with local cheese was very rich and interesting , the babaganush was a little too sweet. Would highly recommend booking in advance as there is a limited amount of tables. We celebrated an event, in all 6 people. You enter an open courtyard which is very well restored and protected from the outside elements. All the food was perfect and everyone complimented the food. Starters from fish soup to pasta were fantastic. The main course was mainly rib-eye steak with 1 side dish and sauce. The dessert was brilliant. I gave service a 3 star simply because many years ago I used to go there and the service was better. The service was centred around customer satisfaction. It is still "good" but not as good as it used to be. Great evening and compliments. Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

As soon as I arrive, the manager there greeted me kindly and shared some facts about the building. Had a great experience dining solo , food was great as well as my drink. My waitress was great! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

First the positive aspects: beautiful location, the terrasse inside reminds of the riads in marrakech. The food is also arabic inspired. Since we are from that culture we know the taste of the traditional dishes like baba ghanoush, tabouleh and imam bayildi. To be honest, we were disappointed by them. They were very different than we know, for example the tabouleh salad was very gross and had nothing to do with the original one. The taste of the dishes was mediocre and a bit overpriced. The place is beautiful, that’s it! Tables were not cleaned, we could see bread crumbs everywhere in other tables and chairs too, service was equally poor. There were no body at the restaurant on a Friday evening and we were shocked to see the service and time they were taking in between plates. Food was okay, but it was overloaded , soup was covered with croutons and in 2 mins my soup was absorbed automatically. Can’t believe this place deserves to be in Michelin Guide. We had an amazing lunch here- the restaurant has beautiful internal patio with few tables, under the glass roof, which gives such a vibe! Out waiter, Pierre, was very knowledgeable and so nice, we had the most amazing experience- the wine and food were excellent, beutifully served and in a quiet, off the main road atmosphere.
