I once was lost, but now I found the lost cow.
This restaurant was phenomenal. Food quality and flavor was a delight. Wife and I took my in-laws here for dinner and they had nothing but high praise. They said the crispy pata here was the best they had ever had. We weren't sure what to expect at first since it seemed like an American chop house, but it was worth the visit and their fusion dishes like the bacon rice and furukake fries are 💯💯💯. They have their own smoker so the meat quality and cook on point. We could tell there was a lot of care and detail put into the food, the chef definitely put their heart into it 😁.
Drinks were also delicious and staff were friendly. We were at Amorita for a short stay and our only regret was not getting a steak. Next time! High praise all around. Thank you Lost Cow for providing us with a great experience and great introduction to Panglao! Salamat!

Finally, Alona Beach has a great selection of smoked meats along with USDA Prime steaks and even a unique spin on classic cocktails like a smoked bacon Old Fashioned and Spicy Mojito.
We had high expectations for the opening and we were quite satisfied. The food is made with quality ingredients, nicely plated in a comfortable yet unpretentious environment. The portions were certainly beyond fair for the prices. My tenderloin was cooked to order medium rare like I enjoy and garnished with a soft roasted garlic clove & fresh sprig of tarragon as a palate cleanser. We also had the chance to sample their signature Tomahawk steak which was also tender and delicious.
For sharing with our friends we enjoyed a huge platter of smoked meats including chicken pork belly and sausage. This platter alone could satisfy 2-3 people depending on your appetite. What we did not expect was such a spectacular fresh seafood platter with crab claws and Jumbo shrimp served with three different sauces.
At opening there were four different signature cocktails. We tried three and all were impressive. For desert we ordered the Smoked Cheesecake and paired it with a cacao infused Don Papa rum cocktail which was excellent together.
Service was attentive and friendly without being invasive.

Im lost for words 😑 so disappointed with the Knock Out Knuckles and Chop and Stuff (both pork dish) which are boar tainted. I can smell it once dish was served. Tried it, end up spitting it out. 🤢
I informed the lady who served us about it. Comes back with an explanation from the chef that its the brine, herbs, etc.
I know what a boar tainted meat smells and tastes like. No need to argue, i just pay.
Infairness, the Sea & Green Salad and Mexican Chicken Cigar is good.
Expectation turns into disappointment. 👎

Had lunch here a few days ago, got some starters and a couple of sandwiches. All the food was missing salt and was overwhelming fried to the point we were basically eating oil.
It'd have been ok-ish but after a few hours we started to feel bad, all the symptoms of food poisoning.

One of the best steak restaurants in the island. The steak is done properly and generous serving. Always a pleasure eating here.

Giving it a 4 star mark as I personally do not like to have herbs over my steak at a steakhouse as it masks the charred and smoke taste. Atmosphere is good however often it is not very crowded as the price is a bit on the higher end compared with other restaurants near the resort. Quality is of international standards.

4.79 here! We went here for my husband’s birthday. We were all pleasantly surprised with the menu offerings. Truly a find in the island.
Loved the decor, not so much the floor as it shows the age of the establishment, scratches and all. Service is excellent, shout-out to Vien.
Massively recommend this place. However, a couple of things to note though, we ordered the 500g steak medium rare and it came out medium and a bit on the dry side. The quality is good, the flavours are there, but it was such a shame that it wasn’t showcased when we received a medium cooked steak.
The salmon, flavour wise was quite interesting albeit a bit on the dry side.
This restaurant has a lot of potential as long as they’re keen on improving the food, no doubt, it could be a top contender in the restaurant scene in the island.
Would definitely come back!

This is my fourth time at Amorita and this is my only bad experience here, ever. The server who took our order did not write down our orders. When the food was served, two members of our group had no food. They “forgot” the orders, despite the salmon and pork chop being available. We were assured that the food would follow in about 20 minutes. The food served first was consumed and after 20 minutes we were told they needed another 20 minutes for the remaining dishes to be served. To top it off, they served us the wrong wine. The bottle we ordered was not available and they served us another wine which had a different price but was not on the menu. To be clear, we paid in full and do not want a refund. We just wanted this put here so that management can improve the horrible service of their very unapologetic staff.
