We found the Lions Choice Restaurant completely by chance. My wife and I ordered and shared a Devilled Prawn with Rice and a Coconut Roti. The food was freshly cooked to order and it was delicious with each dish complimenting one another. The staff were very friendly and courteous. The restaurant itself is secluded and very atmospheric, a very nice place to be. Especially the small dining room upstairs which is like eating in a tree house. We would certainly recommend this restaurant if you're in Sigiriya it's great. We had the most delicious food here! The owner is a really attentive and helpful guy. We had dinner 2 times and also lunch one time because our time in Sigiriya was short, but we would return here anytime. The food delicious, the atmosphere relaxing, the service was impeccable! We've had quite a few curries in Sri Lanka and this was by far the best, so much flavour and every dish was incredible. The only thing we don't understand is how it doesn't have more reviews, it's better than every other place we've been to in Sirigaya! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

You have to try the vegetable curry here! It was amazing! A lot of different vegetables and variations. Vegetable burger was really delicious too with its crunchy patty. Perfect service, the owner is so nice and offered us help with recommendations for our stay in Sigiriya as well. Anushka (the owner) is a very kind and helpful person. He gave us a lot of information about the country and the area when we got dinner at his restaurant on our first night in Sigiriya. The food was so nice and for a very good price. Our second night we got a cooking class from Anushka and his chef and we learned how to make Dahl curry and roti. It was an amazing experience! It's the first vegan/vegetarian restaurant in Sigiriya, run by Anushka, a sweet and funny guy. I had with him an very nice evening cooking session: we bought together fresh food and we cooked the typical coconut roti with eggplants and dahl.
