I've had good steaks in my lifetime, and that around the world, this place is most certainly in my top 5, wow. Excellent fillet steak with triple fired chips, washed down with a glass of Mimosa's best,I will be back for more, a picture speaks a thousand words and that empty plate tells my story😎 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Very, very bad experience. Waited 1,5 Hours for Meal. Burger and Fillet Steak medium rare. After waiting we got the Burger and the Steak but well done. Side dishes were missing. After complaining I got another Steak, but no Fillet and also well done. Due to the long waiting time we came to the Loadshedding and the Compressor was working outside so loud that a conversation was impossible. Staff was friendly but couldn’t help. I was there twice! First and last one! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Wine and steak perfect! Except malva pudding was microwaved 😅 Other than that everything was great. The waiters and waiteresses were super friendly👌 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

We had a booking in the restaurant tonight. After begging for service and for someone to light the candle on the table, my wife ordered a glass of white wine. The waitress commences pouring red ! We ordered two steaks. Our drinks were never followed on with another, and in fact the waitress walked past multiple times, never enquiring if we wanted a top up, or to tell us how far our meal was! After an hour of being ignored I got up and said I don’t need your food, and paid the bill for the drinks. This is not my first bad experience here and I won’t be back! Total lack of supervision and no sign of anyone in authority. When I told the waitress I wanted to pay she simply said “okay”! Avoid!! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I want to commend this establishment for excellent service and just being amazing. The food was great, we had dinner and breakfast there. The service from the gentleman manning the phones and greeting guests was just amazing. We were stuck due to the storm, and he made sure we had space at the restaurant. While still handling the chaos he made time to be friendly, make sure everyone was comfortable, and assured us the kitchen was staying open to help the people stuck in town. This morning he greeted us again, asked which route we were taking and made sure we were taking a safe one.With one head chef the food was still top notch. Thank you so much. What a wonderful restaurant. What delicious food. What amazing service. Ben and Annelise your service was exceptional and your smile was welcomed. Thank you for making our family dinner so special. Received a friendly and warm welcome from the restaurant staff, the service was friendly and efficient. The food was surprisingly excellent, I did not expect to enjoy every single thing on the plate. I had the steak tartare and grilled fish and would like to go back for more. We loved our dining experience at the grill room, especially the amazing and friendly service. The food was delicious, although I found the fish portion was rather small for the price. The staff were some of the friendliest and most obliging I have come across and truly embodied the essence of hospitality. Thank you! Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Having had a great meal on Father's day I was quite surprised at the dinner meal on 10 Dec. My chicken was served to me burnt. They did offer to make a new one but why bring it out like that. Husband's fish was a very small portion and not sufficient for a main whereas my chicken schnitzel was very large. The waitress came out and stood at the table with a dirty apron and just stared at us with no greeting. The manager served us most of the time and he is always delightful but not the experience I had earlier. I wanted to sit out on the enclosed front patio and they said I couldn't as it was for the coffee shop yet when I got up and went there, another couple were eating there so not sure why I couldn't be seated there as well.

Very very nice place!! Cannot understand how this place doesn’t have more reviews! we had the fillet with salad and fries. And I must say it was one of the best I had. Soooo very soft and well prepared. Lovely staff, very warm and welcoming and motivated to make you have an amazing evening! Can only recommend
