Traveled to Mt. Vernon for a team meeting with Leaders from Southern Illinois Convention of States. We were lucky enough to also meet Mayor John Lewis. Found this great location afterward. Delicious brisket sandwich. The local beer was tasty. Very friendly service. My kind of place to hangout. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

It's a very good place to eat excellent quality and portioned food for insanely great prices! The atmosphere is just like any family pub. Nothing much to complain about or compliment there. It was super busy ON A WEDNESDAY NIGHT which should tell you all you need to know about them, lol. Every other restaurant in the area was basically empty we passed. So if you're in the mount Vernon area vacationing or moved there...can't recommend them enough!
